Stayed here with family and a small child in order to catch a flight early the next morning. Location didn't disappoint - it's across from the international terminal connected by a covered bridge. However be warned that the bridge is open to air (via the boat quay at its end) and can still be subject to the prevalent temperatures. The staff were excellent, proactively showing us discount coupons which we could use in the airport during dinner hours, and helping us when we encountered hiccups with our check in process. The Queen Room was big and there was enough space to do a final pack of our luggage.

At Centrair Nagoya airport there are several hotel choices. This hotel was great. It's a little bit of a walk from the terminals to the hotel - which I didn't mind - but they do provide a shuttle service.

Location and Transport
Chubu Airport (which is also known as ‘Chubu Centrair International Airport’) is set on an island connected by a bridge, just over 3 miles (5 kilometres) from Tokoname. Nagoya is 22 miles (35 kilometres) to the north of the airport, and Meitetsu Railways runs high-speed trains between the city and the airport. Passing through Tokoname, the route takes around 30 minutes, running from around 05:00 until 23:00. A taxi to Nagoya will take about an hour and cost about JPY 14,200.

If you’re looking for a place to stay between connections, there are a couple of hotels within a minute’s walk of the airport. Other options can be found in nearby Tokoname. In the airport itself, there’s free WiFi, shops, changing rooms and restaurants dishing up local cuisine. Many sightseeing attractions, like pottery walking path. Aeon shopping mall has shopping, restaurants, food court. Outside the mall were go-cart rides and kids activities center. Other attractions were boat racing and Costco Wholesale store next to Aeon mall. Some bus rides were free. Tokoname is also close to the International Airport.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable with good shower, all that we needed for a good night sleep. There were free coffee and tea provided at the reception area as in other hotels. Only a 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the Terminal 1 departure hall was incredible, can't think of a better option than staying here. Breakfast starts at 6am which is earlier than the few hotels we have stayed during the trip.

Suzuka is a little bit off the normal tourist route. It's nice to walk around neighborhoods and rice fields, have a night at the Aeon mall shopping, and enjoy a city amongst real Japanese families. Transportation around the city is easy to navigate with bus and trains.

The house is nice, just a little hard to find, because there are two big cars in front of the house, making me confused about it when I find it. The landlady provides a lot of snacks and drinks, all for free, which is great for the kids. All you need is in the house.

One of Japan's six ancient kiln towns. If you are into ceramics it's a brilliant place to visit. If you're not, it's a lovely, relaxed town with nice walks and good places to eat. Very close to Nagoya airport. There is a free shuttle bus into Tokoname or use the station. Home of the lucky waving cat - Maneki Neko!

Fantastic location, just one elevator ride down and you're in the Meitetsu Department Store (1-6/F), Bus Centre (3/F) and Underground Shopping Street (B1/F).
Meitetsu express train to NGO Airport & Nagoya Subway is also next door to the hotel.
