The house is wonderful and it's the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday, especially if you are going with your family and kids. You definitely need a rental car to reach it because the house is secluded, right by the sea, surrounded by tobacco fields. From there you can walk a few minutes to reach a gorgeous beach called GI beach and enjoy some time there.
Staying here felt like being home, as if we had moved to Ie island, it felt really cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, so it was easy for us to cook every day by buying fresh food from the local supermarket. There's a yard where you can sit outside and enjoy nature, as well as a terrace on the rooftop from where you can admire the night sky. You can see the mountain in the center of Iejima from here.
Fun fact: there's tiny lizards circulating in the area, since it's so close to nature. They are cute and we didn't mind them :)

This is a great location and a nice house to stay in. We were two families with children and it was pretty much perfect. We wanted to be able to cook together, and it had decent facilities for this. The house itself was traditional, but the bathroom and kitchen are recently renovated so it was quite decent.

Breakfast was amazing. There were so many options, a good mix of Japanese and Western food, and dishes can change daily. Did enjoy myself sampling each dish. I REALLY love the toast! It was so soft and delicious, especially with the brown sugar syrup on it!

Lots of restaurants, snorkeling, there is a good beach next to the Orion hotel that looks private from a distance but is actually public. Not a great beach since you can barely swim. But its pretty. And snorkeling at the North corner of Bise. The footpaths with the little shops is the cool part, it's not on any of the maps, you only find it all when you get there.

We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium which was really interesting and well worth the money.
We spent time at Motobu Genki Village and Bise with the tropical dream center all located within Ocean Expo Park.
Due to a lack of time after seeing lots of other attractions in the area we were unable to visit the northernmost beaches and forest walks that we had planned.

Went to a traditional restaurant for Sabu-Sabu. Not on car sat nav, but google got me close. No sign, just in right spot, and matching picture.

So many things to see in the local area; beaches, mountains, tourist attractions. This is a good location for people wanting to visit the national park and jungle in North Okinawa as this is the most northerly populated area with anything more than convenience stores!
