The hotel is well maintained and common areas were very clean - less than 5 minutes walk from Akita train station. Good bedding, comfortable premium room with access to the lounge for tea time, cocktail hour and breakfast with a buffet and very attentive service. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay overall. A wide selection of restaurants, cafés, pubs, and convenience stores can also be found within a short 1-2 minute walk. I had a great welcoming when I had to check, the staff was very kind and spoke excellent english but also didn't mind me trying to speak Japanese.
