My room was sparkling clean. The bed was more of a small double than a single one (excellent!). The air conditioner was working correctly. I liked the breakfast (torta della nonna was terrific!). The location is excellent, close to the next town and village, and main roads, but it is necessary to have a car.

Montichiari is a quiet town that doesn’t seem to see many tourists. We enjoyed walking through the town and neighborhoods as well as dinner in the main piazza. Food was amazing, people were friendly. We would happily visit again.

It was a nice town, peaceful if away from the main road, lots of great areas to walk and some stunning views.
I found the people to be friendly and it was a safe location for tourists with good bus options if you wanted to travel around the area but be warned the Train station is freight only!

The stay was colored by the heavy hailstorms around the Garda Lake in July 2023. This phenomenon sometimes affected our mood but the staff is certainly not to blame for this. The really did what they could. Under other circumstances, I would probably be more lyric about my stay.

Rezzato is a quaint, but small town.
Rezzato is a quaint, but small town. I think two days is more than enough time to spend here. However, Rezzato is very close to the lakes and to the larger city of Brescia and the value for the room is exceptional. For this reason, I would recommend staying in Rezzato while you visit the lakes and Brescia.
