The Owner let us in at 11am just when we arrived. Thank you for that.
Everything in the fridge was free (including small bottle of sparkling wine) Thank you for that as well.

Nice room with comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Host is very friendly and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by foot from airport train station. We had to be at the airport early in the morning and it was great idea to choose that place. I can surely recommend

Tiamo is a good example of the Italian design that I love so much. Everything in the hotel was very clean, tidy and fresh. All the materials used and the equipment available were top quality. We really liked the interior of the rooms - all the furnishings were very tasteful. We took quite a few interior design ideas home with us.
The hotel has a good location - 1.5 km from the airport, next to which there is also a train station. We mostly went there on foot and it took about 20 minutes. Since we had a late arrival and an early departure, the location near the airport was very convenient. At the same time, it was far enough away that the noise of airplanes or other major traffic did not reach it - the hotel was located on a quiet one-way street.

The hosts were extremely nice and welcoming, the check-in was smooth. The room was very clean and comfy and warm. Nice touches of tea available and sparkling water. The location (walking distance from the airport) was just what we needed, and the pizza place right next door was a happy bonus.

i liked the friendly helpful atmosphere. It was a little difficult to know where to arrive- into a busy cafe. Room and service was excellent. Unfortunately i was too late to enjoy the food but the morning coffee and croissant was great. . location close to airport was perfect.

I was researching somewhere quiet to stay for one night...
I was researching somewhere quiet to stay for one night before an early morning flight home from Trieste airport back to the uk and i found Statranzano -Donatella gave us directions to walk to the property and back to the airport - a code to get throught the gate also meant we were able to leave the property at 3.30am for our 20 minute walk to the airport. Likewise if we had chosen to arrive later for our stay we had the option to use the code. The property was perfect in a peaceful area and the room and facilities were excellent.

The house is easily accessible, parking in the yard. The rooms were clean, the breakfast is provided downstairs, it's a self-service, toast, biscuits, croissants, marmalade, butter, tea, different types of juice, water; coffee from a vending machine. You just leave the key in the basket provided at checkout.

Beds and mattress were uncomfortable, the property is ok for a few nights stay but not more than a weekend. Only one set of towels were provided for a 9 nights stay. The host did not offer cleaning nor fresh linen or fresh towels. The property is looking tired and dated and in need of a fresher decor. Bathroom facilities are good however the bathroom itself could do with a bit of TLC. The communication with the host was good.

The position of Monfalcone is just perfect - beaches, Miramare castle and Trieste and Udine are just a stone’s throw away. The city is nice, with a beautiful historical buildings and monuments, but the atmosphere there is just not so friendly.

There is no basic store nearby to even buy a bottle of water, there is a lot of garbage, the seaweed is not removed after the tide, there is a stench, the municipality does not monitor this, the green area around the beach is covered in shit, although there is a toilet on the beach

Monfalcone is not the most touristic place to be. we were there for a regatta so we visited, the sailclub/marina! we visited Slovenia (the caves) visited Trieste, Udine, Grado,... Monfalcone was fine, and a good place to start these visits. I like the authenticity and it not being touristic,
