Shamika was extremely helpful and nice with us during our short stay. She also upgraded our room from standard to premium free of charge. The rooms are nice, everything you need is included and the terrace is amazing.

Efficiently equipped hotel, the price corresponds to the quality. Nice beach, clean sea, gently shelving beach. We were only for 2 nights, so we had a room facing the road. We have to praise the soundproofing of the windows with shutters.

Battipaglia is a city with a pulse!
Battipaglia is a city with a pulse! On the weekends the streets are teaming with people. Young and old flock to the many outdoor places for food and drink. There are tons of shops for those who love that activity as part of their trip. Exceptional coffee and Ground Zero for foodies who want to taste the true mozzarella di Buffalo you can put this on your list. This is the heart of this region. Between the pastries and the mozzarella it is a real eating adventure.
Battipaglia is a relatively new city constructed after WWII. It is a bit gritty and doesn't have the glitz and glitter of Tuscany or other large cities that have managed to "dress up" for the tourist trade, but if you want to experience THE SOUTH it's worth the trip.
2-3 days in Battipaglia is an adequate stay for tourists. Freccia Rossa, the Italian high speed train now goes directly to Battipaglia. You can walk off the train and in a block's distance you find yourself literally in the heart of the city. You won't need a car and its proximity by boat to the Amalfi Coast is truly a great plus. In good weather it's a wonderful excursion to see Amalfi from the sea.

There nothing I didn’t like, it was a beautiful view from every angle. We had a beautiful breakfast and if it was summer I would have had a dip in the pool. The big one for me was parking and they have a huge car park!!

Although we thought the property we booked (La Vecchia Quercia) would be "in the middle of nowhere", we soon found that it was so well located. With so many spots within an hour or less (by car) of the property, we actually ran out of time in seeing what we could have seen. Don't miss the Caserta Royal Palace: It rivals The Palace of Versailles in France!
For a local winery tour/tasting, be sure to contact CASA DI BAAL. The food pairings were farm to table and amazing!!!! Their wines are unlike any we have had as their grape varieties are not to be found where we live. The sisters that run the property (along with their parents and brother) are truly gracious. We showed up without properly confirming our tasting. After getting over the surprise of us being there when the sisters did not expect anyone, they still pulled together a beautiful and delicious food pairing that astounded us. They were so lovely and their wines super! Don't miss this experience!
So many more things I could add, but sadly I have to get back to my real life. Cheers!

We used Salerno as our base to visit Amalfi coast, transport links were superb and we did not require a car. Traditional working city with great vibe. Felt very safe. Very nice green boardwalk along waterfront, full of locals on Sunday enjoying a stroll. Service in restaurants, cafes, shops was very welcoming and good value. Loved the old town.

Italians can be very rude and arrogant there and it's all about making money ALL THE TIME in any way they can. Prices are double than everywhere else little markets everywhere all overly priced for tired tourists. BUco Bar is OK and fairly friendly but train station has numbers to take for information and a lot of people lined up to ask question to Trenitalia. very bad experience with trains. their own people give you different information .v ery frustrating.
