Everything was great. We arrived very late and the host waited for us. She is such an amazing person. She did everything to make us feel confortable. The location is great, near the airport. The rooms are very large, well equipped and decorated very stylish. Everything very clean and very good toiletries. Delicious breakfast, with home made pastries. We are so happy we found this place. Highly recommend it!

Even though the room is small you get more than you need, everything was crisp, comfy and very clean, enough towels for everything, a kettle with tea and coffee and even some snacks. I was beyond happy to find a place so close to the airport to have a good rest before the flight and don't worry about anything. Thank you!

In our apartment, we found fridge full of basic food (yogurth, milk, butter, jam, juice….), and many other food were prepared for us. As we came in the midnight, we were surprised and it made our next morning comfortable!
The flat was clear, huge and nice! Two bathrooms, all new and modern!

I loved this beautifully appointed BnB.. it was elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and its proximity to the airport was ideal.

Needed an airport location on arrival.
Needed an airport location on arrival. Have already booked another night for departure. Airport is literally 1 mile and there is parking at the property.
Restaurants and Pizza shops are in walking distance. Most restaurants do not open in the evening until 6:30-7.

The sea was amazing, the public beach was nice but there is not much space for everyone, I think the city government should increase some space. The food is very tasty, the people are very friendly and helpful. I would like to come back.

Spoltore is a lively town with a beautiful historic town that is fun to explore. With a close to Pescara/Chieti amenities and beaches, and hilltop towns like Pianella, Loreto Aprutino and Penne, Spoltore is a great launching point.

The streets of the city are very dirty.
The streets of the city are very dirty. Paper, cigarette, butts, dog shit, vomit. For two weeks we have not seen the city streets cleaned. The main impression of the city is dirt, dirt and more dirt. To the point of nausea.

Chieti is an ancient city going back 9000 years.
Chieti is an ancient city going back 9000 years. The Greeks and Roman developed the city calling it Teate. The center has the quaint narrow streets and old buildings which give the city its charm. Chieti is a small city where you can escape the massive hordes of tourists you find in Florence and Venice. However the city allows you to have a real Italian experience. Rome is only a two hour drive away. There is the natural aspect Chieti. The Gran Sasso are enormous mountains. There are forests and hiking trails. The Abbruzzese are some of the friendliest Italians in Italy. Fifteen minutes away is the Metropolitan city of Pescara and the Adriatic Sea. Chieti does have many things to offer in a unique and prime location.

A specious property, opposite the airport with helpful host, sufficient breakfast…just a total luck of hygiene.
Dusty room, with a filthy rug on the floor along with extremely dirty leather headboard and a bathroom that had public hair at the bidet and previous guests hair on the top around basin.

Pescara is a charming seaside city that is a little off the "beaten path" so you can find a lot of local activities like street markets and concerts under the stars. It's conveniently connected by regional train to smaller coastal towns in the "Costa dei trabocchi" -- an area with historic structures on wooden piers that used to be used for fishermen and are now beautiful restaurants to visit and enjoy 360' views of the sea. Also a great option to bike in some areas along the "via Verde." You must try the grilled skewered sheep meat, called arrosticini, which is a regional specialty -- alongside shellfish and other fresh seafood! If you have time, taking a trip into the nearby mountains to visit a refuggio, go hiking, or simply enjoy the mountain views or small medieval towns is well worth it! Ferries from nearby cities accessible by train (Ancona, Bari) can link you across the Adriatic sea to continue your adventure in Croatia or Montenegro.

Beautiful, quiet area, with nice restaurants and great beach. Away from the crowds in Pescara. One thing we noticed about the whole area (especially Pescara) is nobody seems to clean up their dog's mess. Walking around is treacherous! It's literally all over the pavements.
Easy to get around with a regular bus that goes straight from Pescara to Francavilla al Mare.

Small city. There are some good shopping areas.
Small city. There are some good shopping areas. Many restaurants. Long sandy beaches. The place is good for sea vacation. Quite place for relaxing rest. Sea is not deep. Along the shore there are stone brake waters, which make the view a bit not so nice. In the nearest city Silvi Marino you may find beaches without stones in the water.
