It's in a convenient location close to the airport. The driver picked us up where we dropped off our car. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were lots of breakfast choices. The pool area is beautiful with a nice view. The price charged for the airport transfer was reasonable.

Great decorated room, feeling safe since it is behind two seperate gates and two separate doors, great common area. The owner arranged a shuttle for us which we really appreciated. We couldn't enjoy the full breakfast since we left at 5:00 am to catch a flight, but she prepared something small to go (jogurt and some sweet stuff). She also arranged a shuttle to take us to the airport which we really appreciated.

Falcone-Borsellino Airport (PMO) Information
Location and Transport
Located 22 miles (35 kilometres) northwest of central Palermo, Falcone-Borsellino Airport (also known as 'Palermo Airport') is the second-busiest in Sicily. It is connected by a public bus, which departs from the Terminal Stazione Centrale every 30 minutes. Taxis wait outside the arrivals area, and charge around EUR 35 to the city (when the meter is switched on), with a journey time of around 45 minutes. Car hire is also available.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are plenty of hotels within a mile (2 kilometres) of the airport, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. All offer a pick-up shuttle service. There’s a VIP lounge, a range of duty-free shops where you can find designer brands, and Italian eateries serving up Sicilian treats like arancini and cannoli. Other useful facilities include tourist information, banking, luggage wrapping and free WiFi.
Terminal Information
Falcone-Borsellino Airport has one terminal, split into four levels, and there's also a free shuttle bus.

A typical coastal area with not a wide variety of choices but a couple of decent beaches and some places to eat and have a drink.. If you're not too demanding, you want to have some peaceful holidays - especially with family - and be really close to the airport, why not choose Cinisi?

Not a particularly nice town.
Not a particularly nice town. Quite run down with limited good restaurants. Beaches are okay but a little bit dirty. Also very enar the airport so constant planes flying over. Wouldn't visit again.

Capaci is a lovely town around 15 minutes train ride from Palermo airport and 40 minutes train ride from Palermo city. There is a beautiful clean beach with good restaurants. The centre of Capaci is a small town with some nice restaurants. It has a very Sicilian feel to it. People are very friendly and helpful.

Montelepre is amazing.
Montelepre is amazing. Driving through the narrow streets has to be experienced. We have nothing like it here in the UK. There's nothing really to do in the town, but as a base, it's close to Palermo, and the ruins of Agrigento can be done in a day. It's also close to Palermo airport.

Isola delle Femmine is a convenient base to be somewhere close to Palermo airport woth a beach. It’s not the prettiest of places but it does have an authentic Italian feel to it. Sandy beach. Has garbage issues including the main public area of the beach. Lido parts of the beach are well kept. 20-30 minute walk to the main town from the beach area. Good train connection to the airport and Palermo.

Torretta is a small town.
Torretta is a small town. It has a few restaurants and a petrol station. It’s more the location which interested us. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, but close to main roads and amenities.
Just outside of Torretta there are loads of budget supermarkets the likes of Lidle, Conrad and other local shops. A bit further on you will find a big shopping centre with a much larger supermarket.
Torretta is between the airport and Palermo.
With good road links to Erice, Trapani, Palermo and beyond.
If you are brave enough, take the car and drive more inland. Which is a adventure on its self, the roads are not always great but the views and landscape makes up for it.

Trappeto is a small city with old historical center.
Trappeto is a small city with old historical center. There are several restaurants, some ones with a sea view. East of city you found long beach. Beach bars offer drinks, ice creams, pizzas and salades produced in their kitchen - excellent. Trappeto itself doesn't support many schopping possibilities. It has train and bus connections to Palermo, but not so frequent. Comming with a rent car is better and give you easy way to visit Sagesta archeological park.

Cinisi and Terrasini.
Cinisi and Terrasini. 💛 Small beautiful seaside towns. 14 minutes from Falcone Borsellini Airport. 🛫
Beautiful and peaceful cities.🏩
There aren't many tourists here, but you'll run into them all around.
People here are extremely friendly and happy to help with anything. 💛
And the best is the coffee in the coffeshop 😋☕ With a small dessert. 🥧🍮🍰 And great ice cream. 🍨🍧🍦
The beautiful Magaggiari beach⛱️, which is not crowded in the off-season.
I think there will be many tourists in the season.
We were lucky, we went out of season and the stay and the beach were really quiet and pleasant.🙏🎉🍀
