Location was perfect for our travel to the airport. Its 10 mins walking distance. Cesare was very helpful and guided us throughout. We arrived late and thankfully there was a nice restaurant next door who cooked some delicious meal for us.
Belstay Milano Linate has a restaurant, a bar and garden in Peschiera Borromeo. The accommodation features room service and luggage storage space for guests.

Apartment was super clean!! Not directly in the city, but you can take the M3 (I think) subway line to the end and then catch a bus directly to the apartment. Nice local bakery right next door where we grabbed breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend. We booked last minute and I cannot believe we got such a good deal on such a nice place to stay.

Segrate and Milano 2 are close to the highway and well connected to the center of Milan. Milano 2 is a very clean and quiet area, perfect if you want to enjoy some peace and rest after a visit to the center of Milan. It is mainly a residential area with not many things for tourists to do, but it is so well designed that you might dream of living in a place like this!

Hotel was much nicer than I thought it would be. Staff was not as nice as expected but perhaps, it was cultural. I didn’t see a lot of things near the hotel but I did get in pretty late and I was just tired .

I did not enjoy the stay. When we arrived the room was extremely hot as the A/C was not on. The External Bathroom had no ventilation and it was soo hot that you can not take a shower. The worse thing was that when we complaint to the owner and to booking, the owner replied very offensive and with racist comments towards southerner Italians. It was disgraceful and racist. Unacceptable for a public business. The only good thing is the easy access to main motorways. Be aware of this place as it's just an apartment on the second floor without elevator. I would not recommend to family with kids but most of all the poor customer care provided. Unreal now a day that a public staff treats customer with bad words and racist comments. Hope this can help future customer and the owner to improve.

We had no expectations about Vimodrone, but after our visit we consider it as a very good location to explore Milan without to deal with the city traffic. The Metro connects the neighborhood to the Duomo station in about 30 minutes; equally, to drive to lake Como we avoided most of the city's traffic congestion and finally, the Vimodrone shopping center has the Old Wild West restaurant with a very good American and Tex-Mex menu, plus home made beers that are worth tasting; also it has a very good supermarket. Finally, parallel to the metro railway there is a canal flanked by a paved path that is perfect for a relaxed stroll.

Milan is an amazing city if you like to look at history,...
Milan is an amazing city if you like to look at history, architecture and culture. I spent a few days sightseeing, and could easily have spent much more going to all the museums, art galleries and churches.
I also spent one day travelling to the incredibly scenic town of Varenna at the foot of the Alps. Going there by train was easy, even though I travelled between Christmas and New Year's.
The city is generally expensive, but I was able to find budget options for eating, such as pizza from the local corner pizzeria from €7.50, or sandwiches from convenience stores for €2.5 - €3. This was in the touristy areas near the city centre.
The subway and trams work well. The 72h pass is really affordable at just €15.50. If you arrive at the Linate airport, you can buy them from the vending machine just outside the turnstiles.
The local shops and restaurants are used to tourists and know enough English to get by. Free WiFi is available at practically every café, restaurant and shop, if you ask for the password. At least in the touristy areas where I spent my time.

Although the room had a microwave, a fridge and coffee maker there were no cups, teaspoons, sugar or milk. We were offered coffee pods on arrival but it was late and we just wanted to go to bed. Never saw anyone after that. Also no toiletries or glasses.

The food was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff was nice. Shuttle from the airport was smooth. Once I called for the shuttle it was there in less than five minutes. If I were travelling to Milan again there would be no question about where to stay. It was stress free.

Milan is a good city, there are some scammers (pigeon feeding near Duomo) steer clear of them. The city is not very expensive and all important aspects can be covered in two days. A must visit is the Da Vinci Mueseum if you are traveling with kids. Although the San Siro stadium visit was interesting, it was not worth the money (over 120 EUR for a family of 4).
Food near Duomo is expensive, eat outside the zone, and a must try is Sarvanah bhavan for Indian food.
