We loved the beautiful place itself, charming buildings, stylish pool, the kind host, the landscape and places to visist around, great restaurant nearby, proximity to the seaside and a feeling of Italian countryside without tons of tourists (but we were also out of season). The hosts were extremely kind and responsive to every request. The room was perfectly adapted to our needs and spotlessly clean. Its location near the highway made our trip much easier. Breakfast was outstanding, with the hostess offering delicious homemade specialties she prepared herself, which made the experience even more special!

A wonderful place to stay and relax with friends or family. A very friendly welcome. Well-equipped rooms and plenty of privacy. All necessary amenities are nearby, and also some things that we didn’t need but others might (tennis, golf). The church bells took some getting used to :) but there is a sufficient sleeping break in bell tolling from 23 to 7.

Lovely town with many shops, restaurants and plenty to do. The beach and the sea looked very inviting even in winter! Easy to walk around and we found it very easy to visit nearby towns using trains which are reasonably priced and comfortable. Not easy to park near the centre, but there are several car parks for a reasonable hourly rate.

Although Albenga was just a one night stop, I would have liked to stay longer. We were pleasantly surprised with a vibrant night life, there were two concerts and plenty of restaurants in the city center. We found great restaurants and an incredibly well preserved architecture. The beach is not the main attraction of Albenga though

Laigueglia is not as turistic as other parts.
Laigueglia is not as turistic as other parts. The water is warm, sandy. It is 2 hrs and 1/2 from Torino. The driving is acceptable and the old borgo town is at the same level of the sea making accesible to wheelchairs, strollers and the elderly. It is convenient for families. Not sure about young adults. The restaurant offer different prices, gelateria and shopping. For Canadians/Europeans like us was the perfect blend of comfort, architecture, mountains, and sea.

Extremely clean and comfortable.
The village feels like something from an old Italian movie (lively, idyllic) – just 15 minutes by car from the beach 🤗
Cervo (15 minutes by car) and Andora – the best beach in the area (20 minutes by car) – are a must-visit.

Lovely relaxing place to stay with huge sandy beach and crystal clear water. Long promenade along the seafront perfect for walking along (including walking to the nearby town of Laigueglia). Lovely narrow streets in the old town of Alassio filled with restaurants, cafes and shops. You can also do some nice hikes from the seafront up to the mountains and to the beautiful village of Moglio.

Nice city, a lot of restaurants and shops, train station, buses, hospital, parks - anything one might need.
95% of beaches are private. You have to pay 35-70€ per 2 bed and umbrella per day. Sand beach, ideal for kids, as the sea is flat first 15m.
Parking is a challenge! So it is better to book a hotel with the parking.
