Loved the huge bathtub we had in our room
Siggi, Hildur and their son were wonderful hosts. The property was absolutely beautiful and we were one of only 2 couples staying with them at the time.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Hildur bakes her own delicious bread.
The night we arrived we were able to use the kitchen to make our dinner as the options in the nearby area were limited.
If you are travelling to this part of Iceland, we highly recommend staying here.

Magical wooden house not far from the coast, incredible views from the windows. It was windy and raining when we were there, making it an even more special experience. It has everything you could need.

There is only one restaurant, and then the N1 had food. We googled and went to the restaurant, but it was closed unlike what was on Google. However, the N1 food was surprisingly very good! We were there during the dark, so we really can’t speak to the scenery; however, I’m sure it was great!

Nice little fishing town in the north east of Iceland. Þórshöfn is really easy to walk around, it's small but they have grocery store, gas station and liquor store - basically everything you need. We had a dinner at Báran restaurant by the dock and it was excellent! Fish n chips was great!
