Great house! Warm, spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. Parking space available and easy. Keep in mind that there are stairs also in the house and single beds are a little bit narrow so that you arrange where every one sleeps. But in fact we didn’t mind at all, that’s why I don’t mention it as something I didn’t like.

We arrived early and were kindly allowed to check-in early. We were given a perfect recommendation for dinner that certainly didn't disappoint. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind, warm and interested in our travels. He was very attentive and friendly. The view from our room was the best view we had had the whole trip!

Really good location and the suite is very new and modern. Has a full kitchen and dishwater, heated floors, nice bathroom and big smart tv that you can connect your phone to. Hot tub on the balcony too is nice

Hotel is located cca. 5 minute drive to the centre of Akureyri. Room was spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace. Breakfast was tasty.

Akureyri is a nice, fairly walkable town. There is a lot to do. You can visit the downtown area, the botanical gardens, or do a whale watching trip on the fjord. Food options are plentiful. However, it can be expensive in the downtown area.

I go there many times per year, sometimes for errands, sometimes for days or weekends off. It's cute, it's cosy, wonderful cafeterias (and bakeries with great cafeterias), great restaurants, I love it. It's also very walkable if one is on vacation in town center.

I was travelling for business, but was very pleasantly surprised by Akureyri - a very nice town with good facilities, great resturants and bars, and everything within walking distance. There seemed to be a lot of things to do for tourists, but I was working so couldn't take advantage of them this time. Very picturesque location at the bottom of a Fjord, much nicer location than Rekjavik. It's a bit of a pain to get to from Rekjavik area (flight by small plane, or 5 hr drive) but well worth it once you're there.
