I stayed at this villa for 2 days and absolutely loved the experience! The hospitality was wonderful — the staff were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They even provided us with a vehicle for pickup and drop, which was really convenient and thoughtful. The receiving was warm and overall service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pondicherry!

We planned to go out of town and stay somewhere to get some refreshment. Finally, choose pondicherry while digging it, Booking.com shows Queens Paradise. Once we reached it, we felt really its queens paradise. Polite staff and good owners The rooms were neat and clean. The main thing is that we enjoyed the core swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice, and what a delicious breakfast! While returning to Cochin, we really forgot the stress and refreshed. The environment was awesome. Special kudos for being a pet-friendly place. a neat and clean environment. I must say I will definitely come back with my family again.

This area falls under Tamil Nadu jurisdiction and hence if you buy booze and drive out you will be held by the police who will seize the liquor and then impose fine. Will be harassed badly. Jam packed small streets and not worth staying.

Auroville was great, must visit I would say to all who are travelling to pondi. Plesant to connect with my own self. The arichitecture was fab. We usually get only 15 mins at the prime of Auroville(matri mandir), I would definitely want to revisit to experience it once again. Please ensure to book online in advance when visting the matri mandir.
Took pottery classes there, hanged around exploring cafes, also enjoyed craft at SVARAM – Musical Instruments and Research.
Very calm, plesant and close to nature feel at Auroville.

I visited Aurobindo Ashram,Museum,Three beaches, Manakkulam Vinayagar temple, Nice visit to Auroville,Boating at Pondy Marina beach, Nice and tasty restaurants, Light house Nice and quality shops for purchasing and many more things.
My daughter had made very nice purchases of useful articles ,perfumes,religious related things etc and was so happy.
I will once again visit Pondicherry shortly but will not definitely stay in the property in which I stayed this time.

A very interesting place to visit, best way to get around is to hire an e-bike or electric scooter, lots of classes, workshops to attend too many to do in the short time was here, a must is to visit the matrimander inner chamber an experience never to forget , the surrounding gardens are so beautiful

Plan a small getaway to pondicherry. Enjoy their beach. Pradaise beach was really good. Go to rock beach for a walk. The streets near rock beach is almost filled with french style buildings everywhere. Great restaurants and cafés near rock beach if you have the budget for bougey experience. The temple was different from other ones. Manakula Vinayagar temple. It was pretty chill. And if you are planning on going on the weekend, dont miss the Sunday market. Overall, pondi is great to unwind. You can stay there for a day. Or two if you wanna extend your unwinding session. Authentic pizza is a must try. Auroville has some nice food options for you to try, and other activities like meditation, etc. Two to three days should be sufficient. 6k budget should be sufficient for two days. For a more bougey experience 10k should be fine. For three days, 10 to 12k is sufficient. 14k for going all out.

Auroville is simply too commercialized to be considered only a religious or spiritual visit. The walk from the Visitors Centre to Matrimandir is designed to make you walk through different shops and eating places. The most spiritual site, the Matrimandir, cannot be visited unless you have made reservations a week in advance. This information is available only after you arrive to the Visitors Centre. The contrast with the Ashram in Pondicherry, which is a very spiritual, peaceful place, is striking. If you are looking for a spiritual experience, avoid Auroville and head for the Pondicherry Ashram instead.
