We planned to go out of town and stay somewhere to get some refreshment. Finally, choose pondicherry while digging it, Booking.com shows Queens Paradise. Once we reached it, we felt really its queens paradise. Polite staff and good owners The rooms were neat and clean. The main thing is that we enjoyed the core swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice, and what a delicious breakfast! While returning to Cochin, we really forgot the stress and refreshed. The environment was awesome. Special kudos for being a pet-friendly place. a neat and clean environment. I must say I will definitely come back with my family again.

I have been to international and national trip , but this stay stole my heart I don't know them this comment is not for promotion. The way they have treated their guests is exceptionally good, we checked in at 9 am and stayed till 3pm next day no extra charge, they are flexible to open pool till 11 pm , I think they follow a culture of "atithi devo bhava" just loved 😍 it

This area falls under Tamil Nadu jurisdiction and hence if you buy booze and drive out you will be held by the police who will seize the liquor and then impose fine. Will be harassed badly. Jam packed small streets and not worth staying.

Aurivill beach least crowded. Local market is cheap. White town expensive they charge double price for 1 l bottle, couple photo happens generally here. I tried gelato and waffle it wase awesome. We stay for 2 days and I think it's enough to visit pondicherry. Rock beach people will approach you for mangrove forest motor boat ride.

Auroville was great, must visit I would say to all who are travelling to pondi. Plesant to connect with my own self. The arichitecture was fab. We usually get only 15 mins at the prime of Auroville(matri mandir), I would definitely want to revisit to experience it once again. Please ensure to book online in advance when visting the matri mandir.
Took pottery classes there, hanged around exploring cafes, also enjoyed craft at SVARAM – Musical Instruments and Research.
Very calm, plesant and close to nature feel at Auroville.

Visited all the churches around, and the museum at the French colony, all was good .
More maintenance and cleaning of the beaches can be done ...

Pondicherry is relatively small, and its easy to get around the place
Spending more time at the beautiful beaches is great thing to do with the children

A very interesting place to visit, best way to get around is to hire an e-bike or electric scooter, lots of classes, workshops to attend too many to do in the short time was here, a must is to visit the matrimander inner chamber an experience never to forget , the surrounding gardens are so beautiful

French time buildings / beaches / 90 degree roads / well planned city and obvious the people. We can find lots of foreigner in this city with more friendly people. Small city filled with all amenities to choose the options on your own. Places for adult / elders / childrens at one destination. This place is connected to all major cities in the south. Well educated people and lot of educational institutions available here either engineering or medicine or art & science.

Auroville is simply too commercialized to be considered only a religious or spiritual visit. The walk from the Visitors Centre to Matrimandir is designed to make you walk through different shops and eating places. The most spiritual site, the Matrimandir, cannot be visited unless you have made reservations a week in advance. This information is available only after you arrive to the Visitors Centre. The contrast with the Ashram in Pondicherry, which is a very spiritual, peaceful place, is striking. If you are looking for a spiritual experience, avoid Auroville and head for the Pondicherry Ashram instead.
