This heritage hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our 3 week vacation through Rajasthan, Punjab & Goa. The property is so insanely beautiful - we would fly back to India just to experience this tranquility again! Next to the incredible property, the staff as well as the owners have been so immensely kind. Especially the restaurant staff and Bohm at the reception made this stay so wonderful! They truly made this stay so welcoming and calm, we were truly sad our schedule didn’t allow for a spontaneous longer stay.

Jodhpur has the great fort of Mehrangarh which has a lot of interesting and beautiful palaces in its compound and also a museum which was full of historical artifacts. Umaid Bhawan Palace which has been converted into a 5-star heritage hotel and a museum. The museum is very interesting.

If you like heritage and rajasthan , it's worth one visit. The cab or auto drivers try to take advantage, shopping isn't very economical, and experiences are mechanical, unless you strike a chord with locals and be aware/concious of surroundings

Jodhpur is an interesting historic city with a magnificent fort towering over the old blue city. The area around the clocktower has numerous bazaars and places to stay and eat, great for shopping and exploring. Jodhpur offers wonderful local handcrafts and is worth visiting for this alone. The old blue city can be reached by foot from the clocktower area and it is worth wandering through the narrow laneways and alleys to get a sense of history and living in this part of Rajasthan.

Jodhpur is a great place for tourists.
Jodhpur is a great place for tourists. But stay away from the labyrinthine old city which is crowded and noisy. Come here to visit the wonderful clock tower. You need to walk in the old city. Apart from that the fort and surrounds are wonderful.

A very busy city , noisy and crowded, lots of sites to explore, 3 days is more than enough most site are walkable if up hill . Unfortunately it was the wedding season so very noisy. Also a Muslim area so a lot of calls to pray / loud speakers., food places very variable.
