If you get a balcony room overlooking the sea between the island and mainland to the north you'll be mesmerized by the colours and beauty of the view, palm trees, bird life and brightly painted boats, while sitting comfortably in the shade! The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. The staff were friendly and helpful and the two restaurants, one veg one non-veg, served tasty meals. We had, originally, booked for a resort at Nagoa beach but were let down. As it turned out this was a much better option, Diu is an interesting town and the beaches to the south are, unlike Nagoa with it's reputation for drunkenness, broken bottles and noisy watersports, beautiful, clean and virtually deserted. I couldn't find, online, any information on whether those southern beaches were safe for swimming, they are.

The concept of tents is very unique. This resort is on the seashore side, so close to the nature and that's the USP. Veg food was excellent. Staff is cordial and polite. Loved the place. Defy will go again in future.

Large, modern, clean and comfortable room with wifi hot shower. Pleasant restaurant and bar with terrace overlooking the Diu Fort. Good breakfast. Most helpful staff offering friendly and attentive service. Right opposite the Diu Fort and within working distance of the St Paul Church, Zampa Gate, Diu walls and other historic sites, and other restaurants and bars.
