This hotel is a little outside the city but I was in the city in 15 mins this morning. ALL the staff are so friendly and obliging. The cleaner even left a handwritten welcome note .

It's truly a home away from home. There is a lot of love in this property and there is so many small touches that give a guest the best experience. We just loved Derek and his family and the stories they shared. They offer more to your night away and as it was my first b&b stay , I realise that hotels pale in comparison to the character of what a b&b offer. Seacrest offered authenticity, warmth and a passion for their service.

Before our trip there were clear instructions sent to our phone explaining how to find the cabin whether by transport or by foot. A very friendly and hospitable landlord. If we had any questions and phoned him, he was quick to respond to our calls and willing to help. The place was very comfortable and spotless. The cabin had all necessary amenities needed especially having access to iron, iron board and hair dryer was so useful. Even a quick and reliable internet ! Thank you for your hospitality! We felt completely at home!

Very friendly hosts, very clean, magnificent breakfast, and probably the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The bus for the City Centre stops opposite and is about a 10min ride. Highly recommended.

This B&B was a short drive to Galway city and offered a quiet refuge. We had stayed in the city for excitement and that was just fine but the Claregalway cottage was a welcome change -- the location was near to few businesses.

You have to check out the Latin district and market square. We ate at dough bros and our pizza was delicious! If you have kids(or are just fun and whimsical yourself) they have some carnival rides in the square. We rode the ferris wheel and the merry go round and it was a lot of fun.

A superb property with spotlessly clean rooms, peace, tranquility, and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was incredibly healthy and thankfully free of the usual excess. We slept in peace, and rose to a beautiful breakfast table. The manager takes great care of the place and treats her guests as if there are family. I wish we could have stayed a month rather than a few days.

Fabulous town, loads of pubs and local shops. SuperValu only a short walk from hotel. Parking at hotel doesn't provide much space but it does offer some a short distance away. You must book for breakfast and dinner.

Would not recommend, this hotel should not be 4 star.
Not central-misleading to say it is central when it's actually only central to Claregalway village. Stains all over carpets in hallways. Reception area depressing. Breakfast poor. Jacuzzi all plastic broke round the sides and a couple of bubbles, looked more like a dirty bath.

We stayed in Galway for 2 nights at the end of a 9 day road...
We stayed in Galway for 2 nights at the end of a 9 day road trip throughout the northern half of Ireland. We arrived in time for the Macnas Halloween Parade, so the city was insanely busy. There was so much to do and see in Galway, and we really only got a day & a half in the city. There were so many great restaurants, fun pubs, historical locations and cute shops, that we barely scratched the surface. I would have liked to stay an extra 2 or 3 days so that we could have explored further outside of the Spanish Quarter area. The weather was very drizzly & wet, so my group didn't want to venture for longer walks in the rain. I would have loved to get to the coastal area and I heard there was a lovely beach (or 2) nearby. Even the day after the parade, the city was packed with travelers and people on holiday, so space was limited in some of the pubs and restaurants, so a few extra days would have given us time to explore at more of a leisurely pace, plus take in more of the history of the area. I would go back in a heartbeat. While we were in a mecca of Irish Pubs and lots of Irish food, we ended up eating at 2 Italian restaurants - I guess we were craving pizza! We loved both Venice and Woozza. One person in our party went crazy for the wood-fired pizza at Woozza! She really wanted to eat at "Dough Bros" but both times we went there the line was out the door. They had a second location in the Gin Alley, but it was closed when we went there. We also had an amazing breakfast at Pascal - huge hearty pancakes and lovely coffees! The pubs at night were always lively and we hung out for a while at the Skeff - it was all spooky for Halloween, and it had rooms that went on forever, with multiple bars on multiple levels with a maze of staircases and live music.
