Fabulous location! Perfect for many of the beautiful scenic spots around this part of Donegal. Great staff! Music each night in the bar but not heard in the room. Excellent food.

Wonderful, spacious and clean property for a quiet stay close to the sea. We didn't miss anything in the way of amenities while staying there. Looking forward to staying here again as the location is perfect for exploring all of Donegal landmarks and the northerly Wild Atlantic Way.

Comfy bed and warm room. You can also adjust the heaters yourself if the room is too hot. Bar staff lovely especially Orla and Jordy. Very helpful. Wee cade across the road was lovely too so give it a try.
But the best bit was meeting Hugh. Loveliest man ever. We missed our bus. He helped us make the next connection. Drove us to the ATM and then dropped us at the bus stop. Lovely man with a story or 2 to tell. He was great craic and we were very grateful for his help. Thank you Hugh and hopefully we will see you again.

Cóiríocht iontach. Daoine teolaí i gceannas. Suíomh álainn. Tá seomra bricfeasta iontach acu le healaín agus grianghraif áille ar na ballaí. Bhí an bia den scoth. Coinnigh suas an dea-obair. Creidiúint dá bpobal. Tabharfaidh mé cuairt arís go luath.

We were down to do a hike of Mt. Errigle, the cottage was less than a ten minute drive away. When we arrived and were welcome by a hamper full of treats so we got stuck into them got the stove on and got great showers to try and warm up after a wet hike. The cottage has absolutely everything you need, and it is charming as it is well equipped.
When you do venture out there's a little trail beside the river for a walk, and the location gets better as there is a nice wee bar restaurant beside where we ate a great dinner and enjoyed a few good pints of Guinness. Then there is the distillery a few more steps away that is a lovely place to visit.
Would recommend the cottage to all and Christina the host was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us .

Beautiful, little picture postcard town in the unspoiled...
Beautiful, little picture postcard town in the unspoiled countryside that forms part of The Wild Atlantic Way with the friendliest people in Ireland. The little airport nearby, made it easily accessible to me. Looks like a sleepy little town but open the door into the local, Sharkey's bar, and find yourself thrilling with the locals' lively celebration of life. There are countless eateries, including a Michelin Star restaurant, so I was spoilt for choice. I usually opted for bars which have delicious, and varied quality dishes; no basic pub grub here! These are mainly family run from generations back, as the old sepia photographs on the wall will attest. Excellent couple of hotels serving the tastiest, locally sourced foods from local suppliers. The bacon and sausages at the hotel Ciaishlien Óire are the best I've tasted. I enjoyed tranquil peace in Annagry. This, to me, is true Ireland. There's no litter or graffiti, nor the lazy stereotype of drunken brawls. There's just a hundred thousand welcomes and a heartfelt, don't be a stranger, come back again soon.

Teach Hudí Beag is a fantastic pub, with excellent staff, the most wonderful traditional music sessions on Friday nights and (I think) Monday nights, and Irish the spoken language throughout. Caife Chití just opposite is the perfect place for breakfasts, salads, lunches. And the tours in nearly Croithlí distillery are both entertaining and informative --- the whiskey tastings are great too!!!!

We travelled to Doirí Deaga for peace and quiet -- an escape from the stresses of work! It was exactly what we wanted and needed! Although the weather was stormy and rainy, this added to the atmosphere and did not impact upon our stay. We enjoyed the Sunday carvery meal at An Chuirt Hotel -- a ten minute drive away -- and took day trips to Dungloe and Dunfanaghy. Especially therepeutice were the beaches -- Port Arthur and what we call Boat Beach (not sure what its proper name is.) We cannot recommend it as a destination to recover from a hectic work schedule.

Very small little village but definitely has the basics.
Very small little village but definitely has the basics. The local store has a wonderful selection of easy dinners, ready to eat lunch food and bakery items. It also has a big home section with books, toys and other essentials. The local beaches are beautiful, clean and well equipped. They are easily accessible and great for the kids to play around on.

Even in the rain the scenery is breathtaking. The house was within walking distance of Teach Jack and of the lake. Beautiful views of the mountains/lake. The kids absolutely adored spending time with Prince and Ted..the 2 dogs...really made the holiday! We ate in Teach Jack. Visited Budapest Eddie and Cnoc Fola aswell as the the pool and lunch at An Chúirt hotel.

Kincasslagh is a tiny hamlet north of Dungloe.
Kincasslagh is a tiny hamlet north of Dungloe. The walk to Kincasslagh Pier is relaxing and lovely. It's a nice place to stay and get away from it all, but I'd recommend having a car, as bus service is limited, and local services are minimal (one small market, and pub that's often closed).
