Unlike many other mosquite nets, this one made the bed feel more cozy rather than claustrophobic. Breakfast is also amazing and you can have coffee or tea at your discretion. It was really, really great and we would stay here anytime.

Stayed here with my dad and brother at the end of our motorbike trip. Was comfortable and had the most beautiful sunsets where you can have your dinner looking over the beach.

We did scuba diving there as well, with the help of Jordan, owner of Santai Diver Maumere. Both Hendrik and Jordan are very professional and nice people. Highly recommend!!!!!! Restaurant in The cottages is also very good, with proper order. The staff are super nice including mr Aldi. 10 stars!

HAPPY DIVE RETREAT fka Ankermi Happy Dive features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Hitokalak. We had a great time at happy divers. The location on the water is beautiful. Claudia the owner, is very friendly and helped us with many tips and organising a snorkelling trip.

Set in Maumere, Cassabonelly features water sports facilities. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and a terrace. The inn has family rooms. A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!
