Staff was very helpful and friendly. 10/10 service. Pod, showers and bathroom area is clean. Free lockers for your bags.
My travel partner used the pod for only a couple of hours until the flight, this was no problem at all. Staff let me use the lobby while I waited for my travel partner, even though I didn't book a room for myself, which was very accommodating and kind of them.

We had a delay finishing the visa at arrival to Jakarta. Then we did not find any available seats for domestic flights. They did not charge the money for that night so I would give them 10/10 for that

RakaAyu is a great place hidden near the center of Kuta.
Clean rooms, swimming pool and, for me, amazing service and staff. I am spending the last two days here before my flight to the Czech Republic.
My plane leaves at midnight. Check-out at the hotel is at 12 o'clock. I can stay here and wait. StaffThe staff guard my luggage so I can go to lunch. I warmly recommend!

The beaches are filthy. The water is a cesspool of waste.
The beaches are filthy. The water is a cesspool of waste.
I appreciate the little island might not have the funds or resources to repair damage. However, with so many options for travellers Bali especially Kuta and Legian are definitely not beach holidays. The government needs to inject money because it’s the people that are suffering from the lack of tourism.

I'm not a shopper, as I had been travelling in northern Bali I wanted a few days chillin, lovely clean beach, very very busy at sunset, which were beautiful. I didn't find much else other than the usual, shops with anything and everything fake you could want, tattoo shops, massage shops, lots of different types of food, great coffee shops. I was happy to wander, have a daily walk to the beach, relax around the pool, often I was the only person there.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

Sadly Kuta has become it's own worst enemy ..
Sadly Kuta has become it's own worst enemy ..It started as an outstanding place for Australians in particular to visit. Genuine Indonesian to its core. Now..:it is a caricature of itself..: I understand totally, their need to take advantage, financially of tourism. But it's an awful spot...impossible to walk anywhere 'unmolested' to buy something you don't need ,etc. IF you want a good 'party' spot..Kuta's your place. For mine..that's the only reason anyone would go/stay there. Plenty of other good beaches right around Bali..I suspect pollution on many is a problem. Plus traffic congestion in Kuta ..: common complaint but just one MORE thing which has made Kuta as bad an example as is possible of a once great place to STAY become one to avoid at all costs. ..brutal. Impossible (?) to widen the streets ?! For sure, probably. Personally..: I don't care ..: if/when return to Bali..: would 'transit' in Kuta. Overall the people are outstanding. Wonderful/beaut people. The grab for money's been Kuta's downfall.

Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip...
Jimbaran is a good place to spend the last days of your trip — it’s close to the airport and convenient for departure. I especially like the Sidewalk Shopping Centre, where you can find Western food, good coffee, and food giftsto take home. The fish market is also a highlight — it’s the only place where I trust eating local oysters, always fresh.
The beach itself isn’t crystal clear like Melasti, but it’s clean and free from rubbish, unlike Seminyak or Canggu. For those who want to see a different, more local side of Bali, Jimbaran is a great choice.
Just be careful when choosing accommodation — pick something near the beach and away from the main road, so you can walk easily and avoid the heavy traffic.

If you like hustle and bustle and lots of people then Seminyak is for you. It was my first time in Bali and I was a bit overwhelmed with how busy and crazy the roads are, if I was visiting again I would prefer somewhere a bit more chill but it was still a fun holiday.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
