In the evening we drove a short distance to Stivas restaurant located on a street behind the port and were very pleased as it offered fresh fish, delicious food and good service. In the morning we walked to a nice bakery on the main road about 4 blocks from Takis House to get take-out coffee and various baked goods.

We were on a "pilgrammage" of sorts intended to seek out our familial origins and were travelling by a rented vehicle from Eurocar which we picked up at the Athens Airport. This was a major winner for us!
Take your GPS with you and enjoy the encredibly well organized motor ways that would best be described as excellent in every way. Kyllini was easy to find just off the West Coast and in good striking distance for other sites. It is a port city, really, with Ferry traffic to the Islands which could have made it noisy and unpleasant. However, such was not the case with super restaurant facilities and the Greek Pastries in the local shops were simply scrumptious. Have fun!

The house is beautiful and spacious and very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen and bbq area.
The garden area is brilliant, lot's of area's to sit. The bbq area has a table and two hammocks to relax in.
Close to several beaches and a short drive to shops and restaurants.
Nicolas the host is very helpful and only a text or call away.
I can't recommend the house enough and will go back next year.
