Hotels near Elefthérios Venizélos Airport - ATH, Athens

Horrible. False advertisement. We stayed in a basement. Owner told me after the fact that it was because someone in their family had contacted Covid and they stayed on the first floor. ok, I can understand that but you have to tell me in advance so that I can decide whether to stay there or find another place to book. What's worse is that we encountered a stranger who shared the bathroom! and premises with us and again we were not notified of it.

No one was at reception the day we arrived. When finally someone did appear, she was rushed and rude. Told us our room numbers and asked for our flight time. She then pointed at a cleaning lady in the courtyard and told us she would make us food and to ask her. After placing out bags in our rooms we went to ask the lady about dinner, etc. and the poor woman spoke no English. She was abandoned by whoever checked us in and she tried her best. We found some to go menus and just got our own taxi etc. We had 3 rooms booked as a family. 2 under my name, one under my mothers name. Total of 7 people. Also our group arrived at two sepearate times 3 around 3:30pm we came via ferry, and the remaining 4 around 5PM from the airport. This caused mass confusion and upset the hotel regarding the shuttle. When they say aiport shuttle it is a ONE WAY, ONE TRIP ONLY PER ROOM. We had booked a room of 4 and a room of 2. However when my husband and I wanted to take the shuttle form the aiports (we took the subway from athens to the aiport due to heavy traffic) we were told that one shuttle had already been taken and we would need to get a taxi. And that if we wanted a shuttle in the morning we would have to now pay. Finally after being aggressivley questions about why we had a room of 4 with only 3 people in it (because booking.com gave that to us as the only room option) she then decided that since there were 2 room under my name we were allowed to have 2 shuttle rides. The shuttle isn't even their hotel it's from Tina's apartments, go ahead and book there. this hotel is only good if you need the shuttle once, and only have one room, and only check in on a day when they have someone at receptions. don't risk it, look at other options.

WE did not stay here , too remote, no shops no restaurants no transport and no one speaks English, this is a small Village 20 min from Airport. Not recommended for English travelers. Our Taxi driver took us to closest Hotel in Arthemedia 20min from Airport.

Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.

The property was beautiful. The location was great. The view was exceptional. The buffet was exceptional - adults pay, kids do not. The beds were terrible. I have to say I cannot stay here again for that reason unless beds get upgraded. Our room with two kids under 6 was at the bottom of a hill- slight challenge for the kids that the main hotel building did not have a family sized room available. Loved the upgraded pool we got.

My online info about Tinas Village was exactly what the place was all about. The pick up and return to the airport was great and accurate. The rooms were exactly as expected, everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, not super fancy but better than was we were expected. Not much to do there, sleep, relax and go to where you are planning to go. Everyone working at Tinas was nice to deal with, great experience.
