The bungalow was very quaint, well equipped with everything one needs for a getaway and more! Sue, the proprietor, had thought of everything. It was close to nearby shops, restaurants and pubs and the Sandy beach was just across the road. There were bus routes just around the corner. I would certainly recommend Seashells to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

Lots of history there, walking guides on the internet, good choice of restaurants and a Sainsburys. Great center for a walking holiday and for lovers of ancient churches and the 100-year old Romney Hythe & Dymchurch steam railway.

Dungeness is a unique place on the Kent coast.
Dungeness is a unique place on the Kent coast. A vast shingle beach, and ramshackle old cottages mix with architectural wonders. Decaying fishing boats litter the shore and a nuclear power station adds to the complex landscape. A 15 inch gauge railway runs through the landscape, transporting visitors back and from Hythe to Dungeness and two lighthouses look over the land and see. A haven for the weird and a magnet for artists. There's nowhere quite like it.

Terrible breakfast, we only been given a bag with yoghurt and some stain cereal, two danish pastries, an apple and a bag of crisps. Apparently if you stay Sunday to Monday this is what you get for breakfast, still paying the same price. Very enjoying…..
Also there was a bloody green light on the ceiling in our room Niddy, suppose a kind of night light which made the room completely green during the night and I had real issues to sleep. Best you bring an eye mask !!!!!
We knew there is only a bathtub with a shower attachment, but seriously you can’t have shower. If you are older you will struggle to get in or out of the bath.

Walking to the “Sound Mirrors” was well worth it.
The view across Romney and close proximity to walk just moments from the house, simply perfect.

Beautiful beach, town is small but there is enough there to cover your needs. Great as a base too to go to other places along the coast such as Rye and Deal. Top tip if there during the week most places stop serving food at 8pm so eat early. We unfortunately didn’t know this and ended up in the kebab shop (which was very good) but was planning on something a bit more special
