This was by far the best accommodation we stayed in during our stay in Scotland. Far superior to the rest of the lodgings of the same budget, in terms of comfort, cleanliness and services offered. Totally recommended.
To consider: You need a car to get there, as it is not in the center of the city.

The owner was lovely, friendly and happy to share information on the area, even helped us get a late dinner reservation just a half a block away. Breakfast was delicious and the views from here are incredible. Such an easy walk to the beach with miles of shore to explore. I would have loved to spend a week there!

We (family with 2 teenagers) have spent 4 nights at Lesanne Cottage. We did feel at home instantly, the place is spot clean and very well equipped. All instructions and tips were clear and useful and all communication with the hostess very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the location is very quiet.
The cottage is within 5 Min walking from the battle field which we visited several times in the evening, when most visitors have gone. The visitor center is very interesting, definitely a must see. We also walked to the clava cairns (approx. 25 Minutes). We can recommend Lesanne Cottage 100% and would definitely come back!

Tornagrain is a 'new' village on the outskirts of Inverness, near the airport. It was very quiet and there was a local shop selling most of your requirements, just across the road! The apartment was very good and I would recommend it to others.

Lovely little village with modern touch.
Lovely little village with modern touch. Has local well stocked shop and pharmacy. Croy strikes me as a great spot to tour the Highlands, it sits between Inverness and Nairn (15 minutes eitrher way), also 5 minutes from Nairn airport. This apartment is top top class.

What a beautiful part of Scotland!
What a beautiful part of Scotland! It was both relaxing and peaceful. There were different things you could do and fantastic places to eat and grab a drink. The dolphin watching was also very fun and different. Crofter’s was one of our favorite food places. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful.

Loverly little coastal village, has the one pub, The plough, a loverly old pub , good selection of local beers, whiskies etc.
The Crofters Resturant , worth a visit, we had 2 very nice evening meals. Friendly staff.
The beach, nice for walks to Chanonry point, and hope to see dolphins and seals.
Nice walk to the Fairy Glen, to waterfalls at the end.
There’s a cafe on the beach.
And not to far away and a must visit, Cromarty .

We loved Ardersier.
We loved Ardersier. It is so quaint only 5 minutes from the Inverness Airport on the North Sea. The people are delightful. You can go to a Pub and have a delightful dinner in a quiet place without making reservations (at least in May 2023). We would love to base out of here and figure out the bus system to and from Inverness in the future.

We arrived at Inverness Airport, and it only took us 15 minutes to get to the hotel, where there were plenty of parking spaces. The hotel’s location was convenient for us, and the travel time to Loch Ness was also acceptable. Additionally, the hotel reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and warm, and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasted delicious.
