Perfect spot for coming or going out to work on the rigs, excellent location, clean, warm and a good pint. Train station directly across the road, excellent value for money, couldn't find fault for the money. I didn't eat there but reports from colleges is that the food is good, I came off the rig from Nightshift and sampled quite a few pints and there was no hassles, locals quite friendly. I will be staying there again in the near future.

Location was amazing, close to the Port of Immingham, but really in the country side. The hotel is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and locals also come here to have dinner and drinks. Perfect for work but also enjoying the real English hospitality.

Barnetby Le Wold is very close to the Lincolnshire Wolds National Park, with lots of scenic rolling hills views and picturesque villages and just slightly over 7 miles from the Roman town of Caistor - well worth visiting!. The Whistle and flute is a great place to stay. If it's practical to travel by train, it's right next to the station.

The village itself is tiny, the church was beautiful and peaceful in the spring sunshine, at the rear was a public footpath perfect for dog walking. Not so sure about the backdrop and view of the oil refineries, thankfully not visible from the hotel itself or the grounds. I found a Spar store at a local fuel filling station for provisions but could have gone into South Killingholme for more options.

There's a wonderful pub restaurant at the top of the village 'The Cross Keys', the service was incredibly welcoming and the food was delicious. I would particularly recommend the 10oz rib eye steak. Beautiful!

A nice place to stay for people traveling to the Netherland. There are regular flights operated by KLM.
There is no public transport....or maybe it is very, very rare.
Places to eat: Hampton by Hilton is right there, and it is by default where to eat. If you have a car, you can drive to Briggs (about 7 miles away) for more choices.

I was working out of town.
I was working out of town. I chose this place as it’s 20m from Grimsby and so should be alright. I was correct. I was so happy to leave Grimsby and even more delighted when I drove into the village and there were Christmas trees lighting my way from the gardens. Warning. While I didn’t see it, I hear police take license plate numbers of those parked at the pub and pull them at the end of the road. So no drink driving

Sometimes b and b are the best places as they have the hands on experience...not all pubs with staycation type facilities get what we the traveller are looking for.....its not just a bed!

Very tired in need of some t.l.c not very clean tiles all cracked on bathroom floor only some of lights working making it dark trying to do hair etc.first room bed rolled into middle as soon as you got on it was given another room straight away. Breakfast was disappointing poached egg was like hard boiled egg sausage over cooked overall breakfast was just tepid. Most of breakfast staff were accommodating but asked for hot water and kept waiting a while so asked Male server who was quick to sort it overall staff was very good just accommodation needs overall
