Great price, good beer selection in the pub, room was excellent. Staff were great and very accommodating. Mini fridge in the room was very useful and stocked full of sparkling and still water which was great as we stayed during summer. Many high end hotels, like the one we stayed at after this stay, had none of the facilities of this hotel while being triple the price. Lots of parking and the car park is immediately outside of the complex, which made it easy to move our luggage into the room.

Robin Hood Airport Doncaster-Sheffield (also known simply as 'Sheffield Doncaster Airport') is located 3 miles (5 kilometres) southeast of Doncaster and 18 miles (29 kilometres) east of Sheffield. It is well connected by public transport. The X4 shuttle bus runs between the airport terminal and Doncaster Interchange from stand 1A, departing every 30 minutes (hourly on Sunday). Service 737 departs eight times day from the Sheffield Interchange, and 7 times a day from the airport, taking around 45 minutes. A taxi to Doncaster will cost around GBP 30 and take about 25 minutes.

Flamingo stays - “quirky cottage” was an amazing stay, it’s local to the golf club and central to get to most surrounding places but tucked away quietly Down a off track road next to fields and a lovely peaceful stay for us would stay here again. Lots to do and see locally the may flower pub is in the same stretch of road and serves lovely food.

A fantastic room in a very welcoming setting. Beautiful garden and space for sitting outside. The cottage was very clean and welcoming and checking in as very easy with plenty of information as to how to. A great host who introduced herself and made it clear that she was there if we needed anything. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great! Would highly recommend to anyone. Room small and very stuffy. Only spent one night there and that was too long. En suite was tiny and difficult to use the toilet. Shower was either too hot or freezing cold with tiles missing under the entry. Bed was most uncomfortable the springs were poking up into you as you lay down. Food was not available not even Breakfast, there was a kettle and tea/coffee in room.

Doncaster town is very depressing.
Doncaster town is very depressing. Big shops moved out and lots of shops closed entirely. Such a shame. We lived here for eleven years and moved with work but come back frequently to see friends. From the bank HSBC up Hallgate to the top is a very sad sight. Money needs investing to make it lovely again.

Not as clean as I had hoped - some stains on furniture where liquid had been spilt, windows and frames very dirty.
The furniture was old and some needed repairing (e.g. no handles on some of the drawers).
