Location was a bit out of town, but there was great local transport closeby. The room was modest, but perfectly comfortable.

We were only there for a weekend but it ticked all the boxes for us. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, shower room no complaints. It was close to where we needed to be and a bus stop when we left. The owner was very friendly and gave good advice.

The property is very comfortable and clean with kitchen utensils for family cooking. The apartment is very new and it was in a quiet location, very serene, but close to the city centre.

Arrived at night in the dark.
Arrived at night in the dark. There was some sort of carribean African celebration party going on in the pub with people drinking in the car park in front of the building. Nobody on the reception desk when we got there and people that were there ignored us until an elderly man went and searched for a receptionist.

Milton is a cute village outside of the city.
Milton is a cute village outside of the city. It has a beautiful country park with amazing walks, a great playground for children and a lovely cafe.
There are some great pubs in the village all offering great meals! Bus routes that go into the city centre or towards Ely which is stunning too!
Love this village!

We ate at browns brassiere was was very good food and service and we also ate at Gonville kitchen which was excellent. I loved the country inn feel to this place - especially the the cosy back room where you could stay and eat
The food was good at dinner- had the special and the breakfast sausage bap - absolutely delicious
I did like the size of the bathroom - albeit a little tired
The tele did not work too well - couldn’t change the channels
I would definitely return here - loved the feel of the place

Cambridge is just wonderful and plenty of amazing parks.
Cambridge is just wonderful and plenty of amazing parks. Transport are excellent but if the weather is nice just rent a bike because South England is very plain and beautiful (biker paradise). Rent a car just for one day and travel around some gorgeous villages around (like Hemingford) where you'll find ethereal peace and no flock of tourists. The English drivers are polite and not aggressive like the Italian ones.. For the best coffee we suggest The Locker. We are in love with british pub (Fort St.George, The Eagle) and Green King Cambridshire beer... try Abbot. We were very lucky to attend the Cambridge Folk Festival which we really really loved.. not just for the great music but for the kind of atmosphere which can be found only in Britain...

Perfect for those who are looking for a nice, clean place to stay. Free parking helped us explore the city without worrying about the cars and where to park them.
Beds were comfortable.

Came to visit the Egyptian exhibition at the Fitzwilliam, which was excellent, as expected of them.
Loads of good independent shops that less wealthy cities no longer have.
Good choice of proper pubs for people our age (75-ish).
Too many cafe's and restaurants to choose from!
Local busses very good too - as long as one remembers to bring the bus pass!!
