We chose Heronshaw House as it was very near Bournemouth airport and we stayed the night of arrival and again the night of departure which was very convenient. The house and gardens were very peaceful and all you could hear was birdsong. Our rooms had everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. We enjoyed a lovely farmhouse breakfast cooked by Mike who couldn’t do enough for us and was so helpful. We would certainly return here if flying into Bournemouth again.

Nestled on the edge of the New Forest National Park, the Avon Causeway Hotel is just 1 mile from Bournemouth Airport. With a bar and a restaurant, it is 10 minutes’ drive from Christchurch. A lovely friendly greeting followed by an excellent meal. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the room size was generous. The attention to detail was super, extra towels, fresh milk and quality coffee. All at a very reasonable price

The decor was beautiful, we felt so at home and cosy. Everything we needed was there and kitchen had all the cookware essentials. Good location with a short walk to shops and bus stops. Very quiet, we had access to all the entertainment apps on the TV which was great. The bed was so comfortable and the bath and shower were lovely. Loved the little touches in the bathroom and everything was just beautiful. The property also smelt beautiful with all the lovely scents and reed diffusers around the property.
