Hotels near Birmingham Airport (BHX), Birmingham

The hotel was incredibly comfortable, great staff and over all, great stay. The breakfast was a buffet style, with a lot of choice, and a good coffee. The food was very good and well priced. The location is right in front of the airport, but as long as you keep the windows closed, I could not hear a thing. So there is no worry if you want to sleep in or sleep early to catch an early flight.

The hotel is RIGHT NEXT to the airport. You leave the departures area, you circle around a little bit in the parking lot and there it is. Five minutes tops, which was great for us because our flight was delayed and we only had about four hours until the next one, so we could not afford to waste time in transit. First of all, check-in was really easy and straightforward, even at midnight, kudos to the gentleman at Reception. The lounge looks nice, there's even a foosball table. We travelled around Christmas, so there was a nice tree as well, and the dining area looks good. We didn't have breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Second of all, the rooms were really clean. The windows don't open fully, which was not an issue for us, but may be of interest to others. But there is climate control in the room, we could set the thermostat and it very quickly achieved a comfortable temperature for us. The beds are EXCELLENT. To get that kind of quality of sleep for this price... I was impressed. We fell asleep quickly, which is what we needed, and had an excellent rest. There's a small TV in the room with a couple of channels and a table underneath. We only turned it on for a few minutes, but it works. The shower is very basic, but it did not leak in the room and looked clean and well-maintained. The toilet is in a separate space, which is an intelligent idea given the limited space and the layout. That was very clean as well and had the necessary stuff. All in all, this hotel is a life-saver for an overnight stay before an early flight, for a great price. I will definitely use it, and other Ibis hotels, again.

Modern rooms and convenient location for Birmingham airport

Lovely spacious rooms, which isn’t very common at airport hotels. Food was great after a day of travelling, and all the staff friendly :) This is always our go to when we need to stay at Birmingham airport
