The staff was exceptionally helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was very adequate. Even the kitchen provided adequate salads and soup, better that expected. Even the bread with the soup was good. The location is excellent. Few minute walk to the airport.

The staff, very respecful, cheerful and willing to assist you promptly. My bad, I forgot to ask the name of the staff who gave a charger to my daughter and extended my checkout till 2 because my flight was at 4 pm. She was so willing to assist and very respectful and cordial. The rest of the staff was so good as well. I was happy with their attitude, they were all brilliant and friendly. Also the fact that you can book a taxi in the reception and dont need to bother about ringing up a taxi on your own is really handy.

The room was excellent. lots of space, warm, quiet. Dyce does not have much to do but the room was close to the training facility I was at. There is various corner stores within an easy walk and good access to the train

Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ) Information
Location and Transport
Aberdeen International Airport is located in the suburb of Dyce, which is 6 miles (just over 9 kilometres) north-west of the city centre. Taking about 30 minutes, the number 727 bus runs between the terminal and Aberdeen Bus and Railway Station, between 03:30 and 00:00. It runs every half hour and there are more frequent services between 06:00 and 21:00. A taxi will be a bit quicker and cost about GBP 25.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
The nearest hotels are found less than a mile (1 kilometre) from the terminal, so there are a few options that can be reached by foot, but most offer a shuttle service. Back in the airport, you can make use of free WiFi, refuel with some food and drink, or check out the art gallery. Fancy a bit of a treat between flights? Book yourself into the relaxing Northern Lights Lounge, which looks on to the runway and dishes up delicious Scottish food and drink.

Kintore is only a small town, it has take aways and 2 cafes, a castle and church, I don't know how much more it has as we were visiting our daughter who moved there recently. It also has 2 supermarkets and a train station. Inverurie is just along the road and there is lots there if that is what you are looking for.

Definitely visit the Dyce Carvery they do amazing buffet. I got the large portion my wife got the medium portion. We got there types of meat (beef, pork, turkey) and multiple servings of accompanying dishes. For a double G&T, large glass of Merlot, sticky toffee pudding and two carvery helpings above it was only £35. Amazing.

we stay at Westhill, when we travel to Aberdeen.
we stay at Westhill, when we travel to Aberdeen. It is easier to get to Westhill than Aberdeen. However, there is more to see in Aberdeen. Last visit ,we found a really good Chinese restaurant nearby called. Yans' so we'll visit there again. We like The Holiday Inn,as it's clean comfortable, very friendly, Never a complaint at all. Plus our "Goldie" is always welcome
