The staff were terrific, the food was to die for and we would come again.

Can I recommend two members of staff. Firstly Nicholas who spent time trying to contact me after I left my wallet at the reception desk. Contact was made and I returned to the Campanile to pick it up. Secondly the young lady who cooked us fish snd chips when arrived late and the kitchen was closed. They are both a credit to the organisation.

Very cozy place and friendly hosts. I really liked the apartment, it had everything you needed and delicious coffee.
The location is very convenient for getting to know the surroundings and the tourist spots of Rouen.
And we very enjoyed a walking to the forest and rive view spot close to accommodation.

Easy to find, welcoming and helpful staff, bar had choice of drinks, restaurant provided pleasant dinner and choice for breakfast.
Location is excellent for being near to transit route, yet it was quiet.
Plenty of free car parking and everything was clean.
The town is about 20 minutes walk and we found no cafeteria or restaurant although there is a range of basic shops and a supermarket - four chocolate ice-creams for four euros was welcome on a hot day.

We have stayed in the Ibis's before and find them great for the money. It allowed us to stop with our dog, was clean and adequate for our needs.
A simple continental style breakfast was included in the price.

Rouen is a very interesting city to visit.
Rouen is a very interesting city to visit. Excellent and varied dining options. A good running path along the river. An impressive Musée des Beaux Artes. An abundance of historical sites and amazing architecture.
There is a quirky grittyness to the town. It's a very artsy river port city and for American travelers, I would say that the vibe was a bit like Portland, Oregon.
What was most surprising, and what I was not prepared for, were the extensive and convenient shopping opportunities. Instead of taking the RER from my place to Paris, it would be worthwile to go back to Rouen for holiday shopping as it is much more laid back and less crowded. Next time I will bring an extra suitcase and plan ahead !

Our hosts were very welcoming and gave us a superb breakfast with homemade jams. The accommodation was perfect and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings. It was a great stay for us between Rouen and Tours. Rouen and Chartres are beautiful and interesting places to visit.
