Absolutely amazing contact from start to finish - the host tried her very best to speak English for us and I must say did an amazing job! She also went above and beyond buying coffee and water for us as we were passing through from Disneyland to Calais.
We were accommodated with earlier check in than what we originally agreed!
The property is absolutely gorgeous. Open planned and comfortably fits 6 people.

I liked that there were no blood-sucking insects in the room, there was hot water, the door was locked, the parking was closed and coded, the territory was also coded and this is a big plus. We used the kitchen, Internet and watched TV. Everything was in good working order.

Restaurant, boulongerie and shop within 50m of apartment all very good. Nothing much in Buc but it is beside Versailles. 40min walk to Versailles palace. Bus and trains nearby. If visiting for Versailles there is closer accommodation to Versailles.

I had never come to Guyancourt. It is quiet, and feels safe. It is green, leafy. The air is fresh. Lots of diverse nationalities living well together. There does not seem to be any crime or delinquency.

I stayed in Jouy-en-Josas, which is a wonderfully calm, family- and student-oriented area. It’s conveniently close to the Palace of Versailles and surrounded by beautiful greenery, making it a peaceful base for exploring the region. It is 40 minutes away from Paris.

The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever had. My only complaint was that the air conditioning did not "work," did not blow cool air, and the parking gate was a pain. It would have been nice to come and go as we pleased, only paying for parking upon departure to avoid any hassle of visiting the front desk and trying to explain that we wanted to go somewhere but that we would be returning.

We stayed in Versailles for 3 days to visit the palace (1 day) and to use as a base for trips into Paris (2 days). We could easily have stayed another day or 2 to see more of Versailles. We went to a lovely restaurant (Idam) near a market place for dinner, and there were lovely shops I didn’t have time to visit! I think the Notre Dame church and other museums would have been worth a visit, and more time in the park would have been lovely.

Going to Longchamp races should have been easy, RER C to Javel. Metro from Javel to Porte Auteuil to pick up the free bus to Longchamp.
But engineering works on the RER C line closed the line this weekend. Still another train line to get to the city and a tram, so still good access to the city

St Quentin en Yvelines / Montigny-le-Bretonneux is a convenient location to visit Versailles and the trains can take you directly to Paris. The journey is about 40-50 minutes. However, the centre of St Quentin en Yvelines is not exactly pretty with apartment blocks and mid-rise buildings in abundance. Limited restaurants. Loads of parking.

Campanile was disappointing.
Campanile was disappointing. We requested a quiet room after a long trip. We were given a room in a row of I g men who talked loudly and slammed doors until 3am.
We had very little sleep and had to continue travelling exhausted.

The apartment was nice, but felt the owners were extremely rude and not helpful. We paid extra money to show up early. Also got an email saying what time we could show up and that is the time we showed up. We really just wanted to put the luggage there and go out. A cleaning lady was there when we showed up and she was very nice and told us we could sit in one the the rooms that was already cleaned…..so we did. She was almost finished cleaning. The cleaning lady left and everything was fine until the owned called and was nnasty and rude and would not let us get a word in. She said we were extremely rude for showing when we did and bothering and getting in the cleaning ladies way. She would not let us get a word in or listen to what we had to say. We did receive an email saying the time we could show up. She was talking very loud and very rude and did not want to listen to anything we had to say. We also sent several emails asking for instructions for the tv, which we could not get to work correctly.. We never got a response.
