Danielle greeted us at the property, she was really accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. The property was clean and the pool was maintained and cleaned every day. The property was super cute and we all will 100% be returning. Great value for money, quite area and it was so peaceful and relaxing.

Catherine was the best host, and gave us a very warm welcome upon our early arrival. We were upgraded to the most beautiful room which was very clean, and were able to use the chateau facilities before our official check-in time. The property is beautiful, with an amazing pool and garden where we had our incredible breakfast. In short; everything was perfect and even better than the photos.

Staff were fabulous in each department: reception, bar, waitressing. In particular the lovely young lady with the red hair (sorry forgotten her name) and the sommelier. Cocktail, restaurant meal and the breakfast were absolutely perfect, fresh produce, creative and generous. The garden walks were a bonus.

The apartment was spacious and light. The kitchen was compact and efficient, and the bed was comfortable. Being near the outer edge of the city made it very easy to get in and out as we needed to, and the bus stop at the end of the street made it easy to go into the city and not worry about parking. It is also near to a nice park with a stream and walking paths.

Great apartment very well located. Host was very kind and communicative and was there to meet me on arrival. The bed was super comfy and I was well rested after a long car journey. The fully-equipped kitchen had all the necessary utensils and more, including cofee. Would be more than happy to return for a longer stay. Everything was very clean. Plenty of onstreet parking, free of charge, right in front of the property. Will be happy to return on my next trip down south.

We enjoyed walking around the medieval streets. We walked to the places of interest.
We recommend Le Versailles brasserie. It is open on a Sunday and food is superb.

There's not a lot in the town, but the riverfront is nice...
There's not a lot in the town, but the riverfront is nice and there are some very old buildings. We spent much of the time in nearby Limoges, which has a lot to see. Can be hard to find things open at certain times in Aux-sur-Viennes.

Much better than online photos and description. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We had ground floor apartment. Take a kettle and milk and coffee if you enjoy making your own tea/coffee in the morning but they happily supply hot water anyway. Fridge and microwave. Easy access to pool through sliding door, plus seperate private access. Large shower room. Can at breakfast outside or in room. Pay hosts for breakfast and local tax in Euros. Card not accepted. Easy access by car to Limoges - approx 10 mins away. Aldi about 5 mibs away and a 24hr fuel station.

We stayed Limoges specifically as a location to visit the Matyrs village at Oradour-sur-Glane. A moving place to visit I'd recommend to anyone with an interest in history and the brutality and hatred of the Nazi regime.

The old town was charming and fun to wander around in. We had a wonderful meal in one the small plazas. Lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy and it was nice to be surrounded by locals rather than tourists - creates a great atmosphere.
