One of a kind stay. Never expected to find a boardgame thematic hotel in the middle of the nature. If you're a boardgame enthusiast, this is where you'd want to stay, possible organize an entire vacation here.
Staff is super friendly, there are thematic rooms which I highly recommend. It felt like I slept in a Hogwarts dormitory.

You get a lovely little house, tons of facilities it felt so lovely and it's in the middle of all the vineyards, I'm just sorry we weren't there longer! Very nice people, I wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the equipment and garden. It's an apartment more than a room. Isabelle and Alexandre are exceptionally hospitable and helpful. Highly recommend!

Superb gite in an absolutely beautiful peaceful setting. Fabrice’s communication was perfect and he was very helpful with directions and his daughter came to meet us as the Gite is down a small lane so sat nav not that reliable. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable bed with lovely linen sheets. Spotlessly clean (and I’m very fussy about cleanliness so perfect for me!) Lovely rustic French feel to the Gite and nice outdoor sitting spaces. Parking right outside. Merci beaucoup Fabrice. Tres Superb!

Close to the old town but in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk into town. Parking directly at the house. An older house but nicely decorated with modern features. Our generous room overlooked the garden. Nicely renovated bath with a large shower. Coffee and tea available in the room. More than ample breakfast with fresh fruit and juice as well as warm baked goods. Homemade jams. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We would definitely come back should we visit Bergerac again. Bergerac is a very nice town which offers a lot but is not too big. Farmers market was very nice.

Location was perfect, just a few minutes stroll into town and very quiet with a few boulangeries and bars within 200 metres…and a good pizzeria too! The apartment was clean and had everything for a comfortable and relaxing break. We didn’t meet the owner but a few messages passed between us that were really helpful. We travel frequently and definitely recommend!!

Lovely bars and restaurants, two museums, however not too much else to do. We did not have the time to go on a river trip, which would have been lovely. Overall a lovely town.

The area around Lembras was great.
The area around Lembras was great. We explored Bergerac which is very close but also travelled to other towns and villages to see more of the area. We found a great little restaurant in one of the local villages, which we passed onto Eric and Jose to recommend to others.

The Hotel is great and the Lady running it was most welcoming and friendly, The food was so fresh and although very simple was fantastic.
Sitting in the garden haveing our evening meal was a highlight of our trip and we would return without hesitation.

Bergerac is a beautiful town in the Dordogne, we loved walking around the historic area, it feels very safe and is hilly enough to add to the character but not too hilly to spend the whole day walking around. The Port on the Dordogne River is nice, we did the boat ride, you don't see much as far as houses or buildings but there was plenty of wildlife to see, Osprey, Egrets and they even found a Kingfisher for us so see. One entire day there or 2 short days is enough. We filled the other 2 days with excursions to Chateaux.

Great base for exploring the Dordogne area.
Great base for exploring the Dordogne area. Train and bus facilities enable public travel over a large space but a car can give more freedom. The restaurants were in good supply and we found most excellent quality and value. Easy to get around the town and people are friendly and helpful. As with lots of France not overly dominated by tourists and the tradtional settings offer much to be admired and visited.
