The proximity to the motorway was the main factor in choosing this property but we were so glad we chose it.
The apartment was fantastic, exceptionally well presented and had everything we need to make a lovely meal. It was great to be able to buy fresh croissants from the boulongerie. The owners were so kind and thoughtful and even popped in to make sure we had everything we needed.

I really liked the host. She was always smiling and pleasant. Her home cooked meal was a real bonus and was delicious.
We came on 2 motorcycles and they were parked in a secure compound. This is a real home from home, great comfortable accommodation in a quiet neighborhood.

It only took five minutes from the autoroute to get to the hotel. The room was excellent and the hotel was very quiet. The price was fantastic, and the communication from the staff was very efficient.

The rooms are quite small yet sufficient and the beds comfortable with a top matress. Pet allowed (surcharge).
The car park is tight and difficult to navigate in a long vehicle; the sole handicapped space in the far rear corner of the car park at the hotel entrance (at the back) was already occupied when we arrived and stayed that way all evening and night by a French car without a Blue Badge or equivalent.
The restaurant was fully booked when we arrived - probably very good given the standard of the breakfast. There are at least 2 other restaurants within walking distance.
The breakfast was all local produce and very tasty - staff helpful and very friendly..
The Hotel is well situated if you are heading South on the A36 (instead of the A31) about 40km East of Dijon

An interesting old town.
An interesting old town. A visit to the birthplace of Pasteur, one of the inventors of vaccines, is well worth a visit. The house is now a museum with interesting displays. Lots of nice cafes, bars and restaurants.

Dole is a really atmospheric, beautiful little town.
Dole is a really atmospheric, beautiful little town. Perfect to spend a few hours exploring. Seems to be a bit of a gastronomic centre, but unfortunately none of the restaurants was open when I was there (Sunday morning).
