Absolutely beautiful home, very comfortable and felt very secure and safe. Very clean. The board games were also amazing. The animals are wonderful too. Would stay again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend.

Location was great and I can only sau you get what you pay for.
The place overall had good facilities amd it was easy to get to. We stayed for one night and after crossing border.

Lovely spot for a single night or several days and an opportunity to explore the area. Ideal overnight stop-over for crossing the channel. Friendly and helpful hosts, clean and light airy rooms. Nature reserve and beach close by with a view over the channel. Would certainly recommend and return.

Small village - quiet backwater minutes from Calais centre. Very 'French' in feel. Appears to have a bus service. We ate in Calais centre as we were late in arriving; there are some restaurants within a short car drive, but they were closing as we were too late. Fast food opportunities were available, but we'd had too much pizza already ;o)

We only stayed in Calais as we had been travelling around Europe and we wanted to stay near to the Euro tunnel on our return home.
Calais itself was fine and it's only 15 minutes from the Euro tunnel.
The main square initially seemed great as there were lots of places to eat and drink and we did have an enjoyable evening. The problem was that the noise from the bars on the square goes on until past 3am , so not ideal if you have to be up early . Then there's the noise of the market setting up from 6am. I imagine that would only be Saturdays though.

Coquelles is a lovely little place outside of Calais. It is close to open countryside and the beach with nice restaurants and bars should you want them. It has good shopping centres and motorway links

Unfortunately we did not arrive early enough to be able to explore as we had hoped. Also the coastal access to the hotel was under construction therefore we were rerouted and detoured to the hotel which made it difficult to find. The hotel should include what cafe's or restaurants are close by, we did not know that there was a very unique restaurant near the hotel and had to go to McDonalds for dinner that evening.

Guines is near Calais but out in delightful countryside.
Guines is near Calais but out in delightful countryside. This Logis has far more faclities in summer - swimming pool, gardens, and much much more. We have never stayed there in summer but you can get all the details on their website. We stay there as it is very handy for Eurotunnel whilst out of Calais. There are several restaurants in Guines. We were very pleased to find this Logis!

Beautiful little town and only a short distance from Calais. We live in Kent and it was a perfect place for a short trip without involving too much driving. Ardres is also the home to Boursot Vins which offers an excellent range of quality wines.

I absolutely loved it, even a washing machine with a built-in dryer. It didn't dry our clothes, but it could have been an error in translation on my part, the machine is brand new. It had everything you could want, and so clean and well kept. The Jacuzzi is so nice, I really wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts are amazing!
