We've stayed here for 1 night on our way to home from our holiday. Unfortunately my wife suffered a torn ankle ligament on the last evening of our holiday so the trip home wasn't very comfortable.
When we arrived I got to the reception to ask if there was a wheelchair available, there wasn't but they quickly went trough the options and offered an office chair. A little bit awkward to push my wife though the lobby on an office chair but it worked.
At checking in the staff offered us roomservice for dinner and breakfast, that made it way easier for us to eat comfortably.
The room was clean and quiet and the beds comfortable.

Special shout out to Karene at the reception - extremely nice and friendly, enjoyed chatting and appreciate all the recommendations. Really made the stay even more pleasant.

For us it is the perfect stopover hotel, it had everything we needed for a nights stay on the way to our destination, staff were friendly, very welcoming to our puppy Harry, a swim in the pool and some chill time before dinner was lovely. The food was lovely, the waitress and I muffled through my schoolbook French and she made me feel confident enough to try. A really chilled way to start our holiday- don’t expect a 5 star hotel, it isn’t that, but it is very French , very charming and Harry our bulldog puppy loved it too

Everything about the hotel, the staff, the room, the pool and the cleanliness was excellent, but no bar or dining facilities on a Sunday night is very disappointing when your hungry and tired after an 8 hour drive!

Horrible location. In an industrial/ commercial estate. I booked because I needed to use the restaurant. Was advised by email while en route (48 hour journey) restaurant closed all weekend. Only option was to get in car and drive again ( already driven 8 hours) and leave the dogs . Only walking distance option was a terrible Chinese buffet. Everything else closed. Apparently it is in the terms of booking. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Needed to be flagged very prominently and it wasn’t. I would never have booked if it had been obvious the restaurant was closed. Hotel claims we weren’t charged for 2 dogs. I can’t verify as I didn’t keep the invoice. Payed over €100 for a dingy tiny room in need of updating, horrible location, hotel minimally functioning. Then got pushback from hotel on posting an entirely fair account of my experience. The resorting to “guest blaming” is reflective of the of the experience delivered . Not good enough Best Western: It was a poor experience. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay her, unfortunately.

Fabulous suburb of Chateauroux, lots to do. Excellent motorway links. Perfect for stopover as some hotels are less than 1 km from a main interchange.

This was a 4-star hotel so you can expect a certain level of comfort and facilities. It is essentially a corporate hotel I would say, so used primarily during the week by business people. The building had an interesting history as a cigarette factory, although apart from a few murals in the room and hotel public areas which referenced this history, the decor was modern and from the inside it was not necessarily obvious that this was a building from the 1800s. It was a good location for us for an overnight on our trip back to the UK from Provence, The hotel is centrally situated and has secure, paid parking opposite the hotel. The food for dinner was satisfactory and served very rapidly. The staff were friendly and efficient.

It is great for an overnight stop on the way north or south with a fabulous restaurant. Perhaps book directly and you might get a better room. Didn’t get a chance to use the swimming pool or outdoor terrace as weather bad but a great upgrade from our last visit. Would go back when we be ttravel this route. Staff great, friendly and speak English.

Surrounded by fast foot establishments on an industrial park, featuring the worst hotel I've ever stayed in name B&B Hotel Airport and also the saddest Carrefour supermarket I've ever been to- a French supermarket with no bread available and a shut down fish counter! Also petrol at 10 cents a ltr more than everywhere else. My review is of the area around the airport not Chateauroux itself.
