The breakfast was done by the host herself and was very nice and changed for two days. Home-made crepes and cakes. Super delicious. The house is very well decorated and has unique style. The garden with pool is done very lovely.

Exclusively calm, nice and peaceful location. The premises are wide, clean and everything provided as proposed. A very charming little gift as free coffee & tea. Also an advantage is the possibility to park there, in a free way. Easy to get to the castle. Also, you can arrive anytime which is very convenient, avoiding to disturb the hosts. Thank you!

Carcassone is a great city to visit.
Carcassone is a great city to visit. The main city is compact and friendly with lots of restaurants and some great shops. The Medieval City is incredible, I cannot recommend it highly enough! Absolutely amazing Chateau, Ramparts and a city within the walls, wonderful!

The breakfasts were very nice and we had different options each day.
Given the hot weather, it was fantastic to have a swim each day after being out sightseeing.
The hosts were extremely helpful in giving us suggestions about what to see in the area.

Main take from my visit was how friendly and helpful everyone is in Carcassonne. Didnt have any bad experiences in shops, restaurants or bars. Such a laid-back city.
A very walkable city with the beautiful Medieval City towering above and visibly from almost everywhere.
Great walking paths along the River Aude and on the Canal du Midi.
