Great place to stay. Nice apartment with excellent facilities. The proprietor was extremely helpful with lifts, airport pick up and drop off.

There are 2 separate houses on one section. Both are available for bookings. We stayed at the back house for 10 nights. House is newly renovated and clean and tidy. Has kitchen, wifi and A/C. Shower has hot water. Washer and dryer is outside in shed and there is also clothes line. Property is fully secured with high fences and neighbours also know owner so added security. There is one parking inside and rest outside along driveway. You can reserve the inside parking with property manager if available. Property manager is excellent and fastest response is via calls over emails.
The property is located towards the end of Laubu Place, Suva. This is a dead end street. Beware the physical street sign says 'Duvalu' but on google maps it says 'Laubu Place.' This is a very handy location if you have events in the Suva and Nausori area. On Laubu Place there is also the Nasinu Kaliamman Mandir. Damodar plaza (mini mall) is about 20 minutes away and has a hot bread kitchen store. Rups Mega Centre (mini mall) is about 15 minutes away. This also has atms attached to the outside of the buildings so you can still access even when mall is closed. It accepted our NZ visa card. There are 2 roadside bbq places within 5 minutes on Ratu Dovi Road open till early morning.

I lived in Suva for 14 years back in the 60's and it's, and it has not changed much, apart for a few larger modern buildings.
Great city to visit, but to do Fiji justice, visit the Vanua Levu and or Taveuini, or other islands.. to experience real Fiji culture.

We had really crap weather when we went to Toberua, but...
We had really crap weather when we went to Toberua, but still enjoyed ourselves. The staff here really make the place special, as they are warm and inviting and make you feel at home. The food was outstanding. The bures are lovely and so close to the water. There is a nice bar area with a pool table and table tennis table. You can interact with other guests or escape to the quiet of your bure and lay in a hammock all day.

Lots of food options.
Lots of food options. Go to the market for local food and coconut water. Malls located all over the main Suva shopping and eating area close to the market and within walking distance from each other. Parking is a humbug and best you park on the multi storeyed parking lots for shopping malls. They can be expensive so plan what you want to do before making the journey to Suva. If you stay at the Quest then no issues with parking as that is included with your stay.

Suva is the only city in Fiji.
Suva is the only city in Fiji. Busy port and government centre. Great markets for produce and handicrafts located by CBD. People still friendly as ever, but a few beggars show the harder side of life. Museum very good. Good local bus networks.Not really a tourist town.
