The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. The apartment seems really new and modern. It is really functional and has everything you need - apart from sauna maybe, but with all the other advantages we didn't miss it one second. If you like jogging there is a really nice path around the small pound and some public outdoor exercise equipment next to a football field. Perfect for a quick run and swim to conclude. It has a washing machine so you don't need to worry what to do with sweaty clothes after ;-). The apartment has a parking in an underground garage, so perfect for people traveling with a car. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities you need like oil, salt, quality pans etc. The bed mattress seems to be of good quality so we slept really well. The host is super friendly and the check in was really smooth. All in all - we had a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back.

The house was really big and nice. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable. Room temperature was just perfect and we liked sauna too after a day outside.

We just went to sleep there. Everything was there - WC, beds and outlets to charge our units. Pleasant doorman and quick check in.

Nice cozy atmosphere in the apartment. Beds up to 4 persons, personally prefered to sleep on one of the bunk beds as the double bed is really soft. Nice walking distance to nearby shops and amazing around the lake track. Public sauna nearby the lake from Thursday to Sunday. Was possible to use bicycles and also rowing boat.

We found the city rather underwhelming from a tourist’s perspective. The overall architecture is quite bland—most buildings lack character, with only a few exceptions that stand out. The city center restaurants were overpriced and offered mediocre quality, which didn’t match expectations. During our stay, extensive construction works made driving and navigation frustrating.
While Tampere may offer a comfortable lifestyle for residents, it doesn’t present much for short-term visitors. There’s a noticeable lack of engaging attractions or vibrant urban atmosphere.
That said, the museums were the highlight of our trip. The Moomin Museum was charming and well-curated, and the Museum Centre Vapriikki impressed us with its diverse exhibitions—from games and geology to radio history. If you’re passing through, these cultural spots are definitely worth your time.

Tampere is a lovely city hotel was walking distance from train station and central to buses, trams and shopping.
Hotel was clean and tidy but could do with an update in decor. Brighten/Lighten up the entry and restaurant found it a but dark and tired looking. Room was comfortable and a view to the Koski but could also do with freshening up but otherwise hotel was in good location and staff very kind and helpful. Enjoyed Tampere
