The B&B is located in a beautiful farm, a neat and very well kept complex of many buildings, gardens, farm facilities, etc., all set in a peaceful lakeside environment. The main building is elegant, welcoming, and so are the owners. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but OK for a short stay. Breakfast was great! It seems in the middle of nowhere, but it takes just 15 drive to downtown. Price is fair. I would stay there again, 100%!!!

I was pleasantly surprised, I was especially pleased with walking on the cycle path with beautiful views on my way from the train station to the hostel, which didn't last that long. The entrance to the hostel is on the side and it is located in the old train station, where there is also a flea market, it seems to offer a lot of activities, but I didn´t use them much in April. The host from the hostel was very nice and helpful, he made a luxurious breakfast, simple but tasty - I especially appreciate that he made it earlier than it is usually served, as I had to leave early the next day by train. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, I am satisfied, Savonlinna is a wonderful city, next time I would like to stay there longer. Definitely recommend :-)
