The villa is located right in Santa Claus Village. Just like the pictures. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful very clean villa. We stayed in the first floor. You have to cook breakfast yourself but I didn't mind they provide you with lots of goods for breakfast and even snacks too. They cleaned up the kitchen and bathroom daily. The host was very sweet and pleasant. She even let me hire her babysitter for a night out in town. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for everything!

Location: The resort is just behind the Santa Claus village and very easy to reach all the attractions.
Staff: The staff was very helpful and flexible. I had activity planned so they were very flexible in changing my dinner reservations. Also it was my wife's birthday and on request they made a birthday cake within a day!
Room: The rooms are spacious and clean. The room had a private jacuzzi and sauna!
Food: The dinner was included in the package and was of fine dining level.

Loved how close it is to Santa Claus Village. The walk to it was gorgeous, just through the forest. Super warm cabin. Very comfy bed. The hosts went above and beyond. Nothing was too much and they were only too happy to help. Very approachable. Our stay was fantastic. We cant wait to come back.

Amazing nature.
Amazing nature. Too much ads about all the hassle activities. Just 15 min out from city there is amazing nature!
People were friendly welcoming and honest. Spoke good English. Restaurants clean and menus in English.
With taxi have to be very careful.

Our stay in Rovaniemi was magical and beautiful.
Our stay in Rovaniemi was magical and beautiful. We came to spend Christmas here and it lived up to everything, until it was time to leave.
Our flight got cancelled due to the weather. The airport was an absolute nightmare. We had to arrange last minute accomodation, which was a struggle and many people had to sleep at the airport.
We came back early the next day, and were stuck at the airport again the next day, all day. Lack of communication, organisation, facilities, they ran out of water.
Take this into consideration, I would never come back for this reason. Our stay was great, but we lost two days in London because we couldn't get out.

We loved feeding reindeer at the Santa Claus village and...
We loved feeding reindeer at the Santa Claus village and heating sausages on the outdoor fire, along with drinking hot chocolate! We loved the 2km husky sled rides too and the hiking trails in Vattunki Wilderness resort. Glow in the dark arctic mini golf was so fun too as was enjoying the views over the river in the snow. We also loved the Sushi buffet in Luckiefuns! We were sad to miss seeing inside the church though!

Santa Claus Village is the highlight with not much else...
Santa Claus Village is the highlight with not much else going on in town and some of the roads are rather bad.
Not enough buses going to Santa Claus Village.
The taxis are a total rip off - avoid them, if possible.
During peak season the hotels charge outrageous prices.
Santa Park is a rip off.

I liked all the activities we did in Rovaniemi.
I liked all the activities we did in Rovaniemi. It is so much fun for everyone. From ice karting to Santa village visit to snow man world visit to aurora chasing it was all so amazing ! Highly recommend it 👍
