I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at this wonderful accommodation. From the moment me and my family arrived, the host went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
We truly appreciated the beautiful bouquet of flowers, the huge fresh fruit plate at our arrival, it was such a surprise and made us feel very welcome. The warmth, friendliness, and genuine care of our hosts made us feel right at home.
The property itself was immaculate – perfectly clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained, with attention to every little detail. Not to mention the unique location, the proximity to every attraction in Santa Claus Village but also to the city is a game-changer for any family with children. It truly felt like a home away from home. Everything we could possibly need was provided, and it was clear that a lot of thought had been put into creating a space where guests can relax and enjoy their stay.
The kindness and attentiveness of our hosts was overall beyond expectations. Whether it was offering local tips, making sure we were comfortable, or simply their warm demeanor, they made this stay unforgettable.

The villa is located right in Santa Claus Village. Just like the pictures. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful very clean villa. We stayed in the first floor. You have to cook breakfast yourself but I didn't mind they provide you with lots of goods for breakfast and even snacks too. They cleaned up the kitchen and bathroom daily. The host was very sweet and pleasant. She even let me hire her babysitter for a night out in town. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for everything!

The location was perfect and very close to santa village. Accommodation was gorgeous and had everything we required. hot tub and sauna was a great addition after a day in the snow and the views were very special. The reception organised a taxi to collect us and drop to the airport on leaving and also held our winter clothes rental for the company to come and collect which was very helpful. Although a little pricey was a very special stay.

Exceptional comfort, cleanliness and the staff were absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful and accommodating and made sure that our stay was as easy as possible. Amazing nature.
Amazing nature. Too much ads about all the hassle activities. Just 15 min out from city there is amazing nature!
People were friendly welcoming and honest. Spoke good English. Restaurants clean and menus in English.
With taxi have to be very careful.

Have you ever been on an airplane where the whole flight CHEERS upon landing? Not from a terrifying flight where everyone is happy to land but out of sheer JOY and excitement. Welcome to the North Pole. I traveled solo and adored everything about Rovaniemi, the surrounding area and it's people and I'm making plans to return again with my children. I felt safe traveling as a single woman and found the residents of the little city to be kind and helpful. I flew in and then took the night sleeper train to Helsinki to fly home. That experience was also super fun. I felt like a child boarding the Christmas Express (remember that book?)

We loved feeding reindeer at the Santa Claus village and...
We loved feeding reindeer at the Santa Claus village and heating sausages on the outdoor fire, along with drinking hot chocolate! We loved the 2km husky sled rides too and the hiking trails in Vattunki Wilderness resort. Glow in the dark arctic mini golf was so fun too as was enjoying the views over the river in the snow. We also loved the Sushi buffet in Luckiefuns! We were sad to miss seeing inside the church though!

The town was very easy to get around and had plenty of options for activities. This trip was focused on the Santa themed activities, but I want to go back and spend more time in the nature areas. We made it to a few but only for short visits. I think I could spend hours walking and enjoying the natural surroundings there.

It’s a small town, better to use Uber for transportation than local taxi, rent a car would be best.
Make arrangements for ready to eat foods as most food joints will close by 8 pm. Wilt app is good for serving food and groceries.
For northern lights hunting, better to book for guaranteed sighting with refundable options otherwise.
