The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We loved every second of it. We came with our dogs and they were in heaven. The frozen lake is in front of it and you can explore the surroundings for beautiful sceneries during winter. We even found hills for using sledges and had the time of our lives, we felt like children again. The airport is close to the location but there was no noise coming from it. We had a lot of kitchen supplies, from toasters, mixers to waffle maker. Very responsive host and communicative. We will definitely come back if we will ever be in Finland

Everything! It’s cozy and it’s huge perfect for us and has everything inside to cook, take a nice shower, sauna even a grill outside to make a good barbecue. Owners are so nice and helpful.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is amazing. Very large open spaces. Great and helpful hosts. Town and activities nearby. Ruka ski resort is also - 28 min drive. I am sure anyone who stays at the place would enjoy it, be it summer or winter.

We booked a guide that we recommend.
We booked a guide that we recommend. She took us on an interesting tour about war history in the area, especially the Salpa line. The relationship to Russia and Germany are complicated and interesting. She also showed us a pretty rapid and provided a nice picknick with Finnish snacks. Her name is Nina and she can be booked here.

It's been a long time since my previous visit.
It's been a long time since my previous visit. Excellent pizza at 'Kotipizza' franchise! And a lovely lunch at Ravintola Talonpöytä. But all the shops and 'outlets' were overpriced and the shops overall were a big dissappointment. Better to concentrate on food and nature!
