This is a lovely cozy cabin situation right beside a lake. There was parking right outside the cabin which made getting our luggage into the cabin very easy. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and also had an amazing sauna which felt sooo good on those very cold nights. The cabin also has a fireplace. The beds are really comfortable. Checking in was simple and our host was very helpful with the necessary instructions. This cabin had strong wifi which allowed us to keep in touch with our online friends.

Brilliant location with only one other cottage nearby., easy to find with good directions. I combined my work trip with pleasure. Only an easy 10 minute drive to the centre.
On the edge of a frozen lake, very peaceful.
There was everything provided to make the stay very comfortable. Nice little touches such as blankets & knitting basket added to the experience.
Beds were comfortable, we didn’t use the sauna so can’t comment on that.
All in all highly recommended and would love to stay in the summertime

We booked a guide that we recommend.
We booked a guide that we recommend. She took us on an interesting tour about war history in the area, especially the Salpa line. The relationship to Russia and Germany are complicated and interesting. She also showed us a pretty rapid and provided a nice picknick with Finnish snacks. Her name is Nina and she can be booked here.

It's been a long time since my previous visit.
It's been a long time since my previous visit. Excellent pizza at 'Kotipizza' franchise! And a lovely lunch at Ravintola Talonpöytä. But all the shops and 'outlets' were overpriced and the shops overall were a big dissappointment. Better to concentrate on food and nature!
