His depth of knowledge about the churches built under King Lalibela is profound. Visiting the churches with him is like stepping into a supernatural realm. The connection to the 12th century — to every person who shaped the patina on those floors and walls — is powerful, humbling, and truly life changing. If you need a reset, this is the place. Here, you fill your mind and spirit with endless possibility and greatness. I slept with my curtains open, stars covering the sky. At dawn, the faint sound of donkeys rising from the valley greeted me as the sun warmed the day. No plastics. No takeaway packs. Just clean, wholesome living — perfect for the mind, body, and soul.
