Staff was friendly and the room was very nice. Dinner was available but had solid options you could have before the dinner service. Right on the Camino.

Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) Information
Location and Transport
Located 8 miles (13 kilometres) from central Santiago de Compostela, in the town of Lavacolla, Santiago de Compostela Airport is northern Spain’s second-busiest airport. The best way to reach it is by the public bus service, which shuttles passengers between the airport and Plaza de Galicia in Santiago, making several stops along the way. The service departs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, and the journey takes roughly 30 minutes. The minimum taxi fare is EUR 22, with the trip taking around 25 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are several hotels within 5 miles (3 kilometres) of the airport, with most offering shuttle services. For many, Santiago de Compostela is the final destination on the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage – so the airport is often filled with walkers waiting to board their flight back home after a long and incredible journey. The duty-free shopping area sells gifts related to the pilgrimage, so there’s no shortage of souvenirs to take home. There's also a selection of restaurants to choose from, alongisde tourist information and free WiFi.
Terminal Information
Santiago de Compostela Airport has one terminal, used for both domestic and international flights.

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.

Lucia was a gracious host.
Lucia was a gracious host. When we arrived exhausted from a day’s walking, she welcomed us with cold drinks and a relaxing smile. Check-in was a breeze, and we were taken to our comfortable room to recover for the afternoon. Lucia is an exceptional chef! The supper she prepared us was delicious and the breakfast was over the top gourmet. Maria was attentive and charming with her supper service. What a great oasis on the Camino Del Norte!

I stayed for 3 days in SDC after my finishing the Camino Frances. I love the cathedral, visiting museums and churches, going to mass, meeting other pilgrims in the square, visiting and trying different restaurants and bars in the town. Spain has a very rich history and have enjoyed going through towns along the camino and finally finishing in SDC.

The room was lovely large and great view and was clean and quiet no hooks on bathroom door so nowhere to hang things no toilet brush
Breakfast could have been better for those that do not eat pork only hot option left was scrambled eggs
Need a car as hotel on the outskirts of town there are however a couple of bars and shops within walking distance

Our one night stay was lovely after a long days of Camino walking with our dog who was made to feel as welcome as us. The bedroom was perfect and we had a door that opened onto the side road which was ideal for bringing Archie for short walks and was near enough to the bins when we had his ‘business’ gathered and ready to bin!
The owner was welcoming and super helpful to me in particular food wise as I’m Coeliac and he went above and beyond to prepare food especially for me, which I really appreciated
The sun was shining and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden in the evening before dinner.

I wish we would of found this place sooner, I could not find another flight to stay longer, I was so in love with this place, it was beautiful, I am even thinking of going back to Spain just so I can stay at this place, the food from the restaurant down the street was fantastic, the best I had my entire 3 weeks I was in Portugal and Spain. The tranquility of this place was breathtaking. I can't wait to go back.

Almost nothing - the town is ugly and we suffered food poisoning after eating at one of the two restaurants operating in the evening. Avoid the town like the plague although the Pension Vilanova where we stayed was lovely and we wished we'd just opted for the ready-meals available there. The owners/operators were lovely people.

The Cathedral is a must, as is one of the daily Mass sessions (I'm an atheist but still appreciate the architecture and the rituals).
The cathedral roof-top walk is worth attending, with beautiful views. However, it is also worth noting that the guide explains everything in Spanish, which is a shame. They could provide earpieces which translate into your language of choice.
Santiago is a very easy city to walk around. There are plenty of good restaurants & tapa bars. I had a great piece of Veal at The Steak House is worth visiting.
