we stayed here after a few days in Oviedo as we had a very early flight. we were a bit dubious having read some of the reviews regarding being able to obtain food.
The restaurant is very good and does a menu del día between 1&4 daily. The food was very good with a decent bottle of wine included for 2 at a total of 25€. The bar cafe does other food and is open until 11.30.
The staff are friendly the hotel is spotless and it turned out a very nice stay.
would highly recommend!

Really nice albergue, during my stay we were just 2 there. I appreciated that there was a separate big common room for eating and just chilling out that had qhite cozy equipment. Possibility to order food delivery by the facility and card payment were also a big plus.

Fantastic!
This one word says it all!!
We were very warmly welcomed bij Esther, the host.
The rooms we had was very clean and spacy.
Also we had a beautiful view of the mountains and woods.
I cannot wish for a better place and very friendly hosts.
We met with Esther’s husband later on as well and he is very kind as well.
Me and my wife wish them all the best and we would most certainly come back

wonderful, clean apartments!! the owners welcomed us very well, and since we arrived on Sunday after lunch and everything was closed, they took us to the store and back to buy groceries! For which we are very grateful to them! I recommend it to everyone who is planning a trip to these places!😘

Staff incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are splendid, clean and very comfortable. Magnificent building (I gather XVIII century) with wide spaces, constructed around a central courtyard (covered to avoid the rain), large aisles and full of natural light. Remember to book your table for lunch and dinner: exceptional cooking. The 1h30m spa is great. Gorgeous view.
I was there for health reasons -I needed some rest. The place and the people were way above my expectations. I am truly speechless.
Do not miss it! Jus by the airport, to round it up.

We had a very lovely one night stay. The cozy little town of San Esteban is just beautiful. We had a small 2 person room, but with an amazing terrace with view at the marina and to the forest behind us. And the best part was our really nice host, Hector. Although we didn’t understand each other that much because of the language barrier, he and his colleague woke up really early next day, came all the way from another town and made us breakfast because we had to leave early. And after we checked out he even got us a ride to our starting point on our Camino trail. Thank you again for everything, it was much appreciated! 🙏🏻

I want to thank the land lady deeply for looking after me during my camino pilgrimage. I arrived at 3am with my luggage soaking wet. She had no rooms left. But was able to facilitate somewhere for me to stay. And she even dried my clothes that were soaking wet. She made me a lovely breakfast the following morning. And on top of that, I left some valuables behind me. And she made it her own business to find out where I was staying next, and got them posted to me. A very very kind person.

Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village.
Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village. There is a paved path leading to a "castle" which is very amenable (the path, the castle is private), and then you can walk 2km to the beach of Los Quebrantos, which is splendid. The walk is by the road (so no risk at all).
The views from the hotel "Palacio de la Magdalena" are totally world-class. And the cook there is great. Book your table in advance.

San Esteban de Pravia is a quaint little harbour town. It is very picturesque. We stayed at the Gran Hotel Brillante and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We drove to the end of the road to where the Puerto Chico Restaurante is located at the end of the point. It is beautiful with lots of hiking paths to follow and walks along the breakwater.

I have nothing negative - it was exactly as described - even better. Anna our host was an absolute joy and could not have been more helpful. It’s a 10/10 and would go back anytime I return to this area. She gave us the best advice for authentic food and bars - nothing was too much trouble.

Quiet village with a real link to its industrial heritage through keeping key items on display in their original settings on the estuary. No industry now but a pretty place, good for walking and with a good choice of restaurants and bars.

Nice village with interesting history. Several local bars to have a beer or a bite to eat. A lovely cliff walk nearby to lovely beaches. Handy for local buses and trains. Nice local feel to the village.
