Often missed by tourists who flock instead to Sevilla and Granada, Córdoba is definitely worth at least a 2-night stay. It feels more Spanish somehow. The Mezquita (mosque cathedral) is so unique and beautiful, and rivals most historic buildings we have seen in 30+ years of international travel! If you stay in the old quarter, it is easy to walk to most sites, restaurants, shops, plazas, and the river.

Cordoba is a very Pleasant, Walkable and Mature city with a very good mix of Historic attractions and Modern Business and Residential facilities. I was more impressed with this city overall as I walked further across the Urban and Business district, many green Park spaces mixed among the neighborhoods. University campus near old town. Is generally an overall very clean and well kept community that is open and hospitable to the varied Tourists and Visitors. HJ

Beautiful city full of history.
Beautiful city full of history. There are a lot of bars and restaurants too, providing excellent local food and wine. All the places we visited were very good value, although the service was often slow. It is a very walkable city. Places to eat and drink: Tendillas Plaza, San Fernando, the riverside, and Mercado Victoria. Well, pretty much anywhere is great.
It has a very relaxed and easy-going atmosphere and is a very safe city, even at night.
