This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed.

This was, without doubt, the best place I have ever stayed. I never understood why people would return to the same holiday spot year after year but now I completely get it. After spending 9 days here, I could easily come back a million times. The location is unbeatable, less than a minute’s walk to the beach, with restaurants, shops, and everything you need within easy walking distance. No car required, which I loved. The area is peaceful, with very few tourists, and there’s an amazing rooftop pool that’s spotless and easy to use thanks to clear, simple rules. The apartment itself was immaculate. So clean and spacious, with everything you could possibly need. The host’s sister met us with the keys and was incredibly warm and welcoming. When we misplaced a key (entirely our fault), the host could not have been kinder or more understanding. She reassured us immediately, responded quickly, and even arranged for her sister and father to drive a long distance late at night to sort everything out. They were all so friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like nothing was too much trouble and this was so appreciated as many people would have had a very negative reaction and been quiet horrible but they all remained too friendly! Communication was excellent from start to finish, including a smooth and punctual checkout. Everything here was absolute perfection - there’s honestly nothing I would change. Part of me wants to tell everyone about this hidden gem, but another part wants to keep it my little secret because I know I’ll be coming back again and again. Thank you for the most amazing stay

Really lovely apartment, had everything we needed for self catering. Very spacious too! Balcony was lovely & very peaceful. Pool area was also really quiet which was lovely! Would absolutely come back again :) Thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely apartment! :)

No kitchen appliances, did not know you had to order in advance. Woman in reception extremely rude. No water consumed by poolside ij a heatwave, the owner threatened to call the police for drinking water. The lifeguard spent more time making sure we were not drinking water, rather than check for peoples safety. Asked 'Where are you from'? Pure US AND THEM. The site was like a shanty town and our view was of an industrial park and yes lots of noise. Our tent smelled like cat pee and there was bugs all over the tent, When we received our fridge, hob and microwave we had no pans to cook with.

There are 3 main areas that I found , the old town where I stayed full of culture and good traditional restaurants, the 525 Plaza area again full of bars and restaurants, the bars including English / Irish ones, and further along the Urbanisacion Oasis area where there are more restaurants and bars. There is also the main road Avenida de la Libertad, where there are numerous supermarkets, restaurants ( including Chinese / Indian / Nepali), etc. There was a general friendliness about the place. If starting from the Old Town and going via Avda de La Libertad, walking takes 27 minutes to 525and a further 16 minutes to Urb Oasis. Maybe on my next trip I'll find where the padel, pickleball and walking groups are! There were certainly lots of things for the nautically minded people to do.

A very long beach front...ideal for walking/cycling...mud baths are an excellent amenity...plenty of Bars,Resturants,Shops and Gyms in the area. I'd recommend the Boardwalk cafe for some excellent Indian food.

San Pedro del Pinatar is a wonderful coastal town that...

San Pedro del Pinatar is a wonderful coastal town that exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers a perfect balance between relaxing beach life, beautiful nature and great local amenities. The beaches are long, clean and very calm, ideal for peaceful walks, swimming or simply enjoying the sun. One of the highlights of the area is the natural park with salt lakes, where you can watch flamingos up close — an unforgettable and almost surreal experience. The famous mud baths are another unique attraction, known for their therapeutic properties and something everyone should try at least once. The town itself is very convenient: plenty of cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and everything you need within a short distance. San Pedro del Pinatar has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and feels both safe and comfortable. It’s a perfect destination for families, couples or anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful place by the sea. I would gladly return.

We went for Murcia Air Show which was packed with hundreds and thousands of people. They next day was lovely and quiet and the area has a lovely traffic free promenade with statues and features relating to aircraft as it is next to the Spanish Air Force training airport in San Javier. Many lovely reasonably priced restaurants and a marina. Lovely sandy beach with easy access to the Mar Menor sea which was very warm but has some seaweed in it therefore a little murky.

Great location, close to many eating places in Los Alcazares...

Great location, close to many eating places in Los Alcazares, you could even walk there. We didn't play golf be the course & clubhouse are there. Only downside is there is no shop on site to get the last minute things, but many supermarket fairly close. You really need a car to get around the local area.

Nice town and relatively quiet when I was there in mid November. Ideal location by the sea when a very long promenade and sandy beach. Good golfing at Serena Golf approx. 20-30 mins walk from the centre of town. 30mins by car from Murcia International airport which cost approx. €60 in taxi.

We found in September it was very quiet, but enough to do...

We found in September it was very quiet, but enough to do for us, we hired a couple of bikes, did the mud bath, lots of walking & spent lots of time on the beach, chilling out. We did notice quite a few restaurants seemed to be closed on mondays.
